A Complete tour of Kudremukh(KIOCL) Abandoned Ghost town. This was one of the advanced township around 1970 and was compared to western country cities with advanced hospital, park, schools and wide roads.
Iron mining was at peak and hence causing distruction to grassland, Sola forest and Badhra river was badly affected by silts.
Supreme Court finally issued a permanent notice to shut mining activities and was completely shut down in 2006.
Off late nature acquired back its glory and slowly recovered from human terror.

Kudremuk can be revived by Auctioning it to Big private Real estate companies so as to set up software companies and do away with mining activities and make it Hub for Software multinational corporations 😊my honest opinion hope someone take note of my message

I agree. We should utilise old town and mining area for developing schools and some recreation clubs so more people will know about Kudremukh

ಅಲ್ಲಿ electricity ಇತ್ತು. ಎಲ್ಲ under grounded cable use ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲೇ ಅಷ್ಟು advance ಆಗಿತ್ತು! ಅದನ್ನು ghost town ಅಂತ ಯಾಕೆ ಹೇಳ್ತೀರ...??!! audio record ಆಗದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ನಿಮ್ಮ video camera setting mistake. ಕುದುರೆಮುಖ ದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ತುಂಬಾ video ಗಳು ಬಂದಿವೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ with audio... ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಏನೇನೋ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿ.ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿತವರು ಈಗ ಉನ್ನತ ಹುದ್ದೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಮಾಡಿರುವ video ನೋಡಿ. ಕುದುರೆಮುಖ ಈಗ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನ ಆಗಿ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಆಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರಿಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿಲ್ಲುವ ಅವಕಾಶವಿಲ್ಲ. ಮೊದಲೇ ಪರವಾನಿಗೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
