Kevin Rees has a great tip worth exploring. He mentioned this on my Multi Axis Birds video. You can buy stick on eyes for fishing lures very cheaply on eBay that might work on these types of projects.
Hi Mike, Thanks for the fun projects. These mice, along with the birds and wobbling Santa, are great projects for my young grandsons and I to work together on. I really appreciate all the time you put into making your videos. I look for the newest one every Friday. Thanks.
Good Morning , Mike I have been watching your videos for a little while now and I really do enjoy them ! Keep up the great work ! Take Care and Be Safe !
Not a creature was stirring not even a mouse....Now you have more than one mouse in your house....Great little project Mike....! A lot of tips given in this video show...!
I already made some mouse with the scroll-saw and just two weeks ago I drew the project of a mouse on the lathe... You were faster than me! Nice work, thanks for sharing. Cheers. Mauro
Thought so...I just bought one last month and really like it. Next on my list is a chuck that has wider jaws. Considering the Vicmarc 150. Did you or have you done a review of that chuck?
I wonder if I used up a handful of scraps and made a few bogus mice, if the REAL mouse hiding in my garage would be intimidated? Enjoyable video Mike! Thanks!
Very appropriately posted on the same day Mattias Wandel posts another mousetrap video. Great planning! Nice mice! I might try one too! Have a great 2017!
How thick of leather are you using for the ears? I tried 1/16" and after 20 hammer blows the leather was not completely cut through. Pipe punch was just sharpened with a file and the pipe chucked on the lathe.
Hi Mike. Hope you are doing well. This is a question for you after watching your 3 part video of “small spindle projects” from the Gwinnett video’s. At the end you were talking about riding the bevel and sharpening. Do you have any recommendations on what degree bevels for certain tools or is there a book that you recommend and follow their guidelines for grinding a specific degree bevel on your turning tools? I know you said something about picking one person’s recommendations and sticking with it earlier in the 3 part video. Thanks Mike.
Ron H check out sharpening on thompsonlathetools.com for a starting point. A good book is Keith Rowley's book Woodturning is also a great starting point.

Mike, Great project. This is going to be our next, new youth training project. Thanks, Jerry
Thanks for the feedback. I think I will suggest it to our youth training coordinator as well.
Cool little project Mike! It's simple enough even I could turn it!! Cheers, Rich
Thanks a very instructive video
The mouse with buck teeth is just hilarious. LOL! What a fun way to use up scrap pieces. Like!
I used a thin bamboo skewer.

Love it. Nicely done, Mike
Great fun. Mike. Have to have a go at these. Cheers
Nice project. Thank you for showing this!
Thanks Mike. Good advice on how to complete the eyes, etc. I think I'll try the beady eyes on my next one.
I love em Mike. Gonna try some for Christmas this year :) Thanks !!!
Fun and easy. I picked up a big leather scrap bundle from Hobby Lobby for ears and tails and more.
Great tip :) Thanks I was wondering where to get that
Terrific gift ideas too!
Nice job and options to make these.
Some brilliant "mice" there Mike, and a great technique to produce them.
Happy New Year to you.
Take care
Mike
Really nice again Mike , thanks for sharing all this info . take care
Really cool! now I need a lathe
Looks like a SuperNova Chuck, correct? Nice project. A fun gift for the grandkids perhaps.
Yes, SN2. My granddaughter loved hers.
Thought so...I just bought one last month and really like it. Next on my list is a chuck that has wider jaws. Considering the Vicmarc 150. Did you or have you done a review of that chuck?
No, but it is a big one. Can't go wrong with a Vicmarc but they are pricey. My large chuck is a Teknatool Titan. I like the Powergrip jaws.
Braw Mice Mike. Love the techniques and the subtle jokes. Wee sleekit cow'rin tim'rous beastie as the" Bard" would say. Thanks again
Thanks for all of your support, Jim. Happy New Year to you and yours.

Just don't make 'em too cute!
Mike, I really enjoyed this project. I checked your website but couldn't find anything on this project or a sample of your storyboard.
Sometimes you need to make a sketch of your own design and play with it. My recent ones have a longer nose.
Cute mouse!!!
Thanks!

Serendipity. Now if my video displayed when his was showing, I would REALLy get some hits!
