my whole hs sophomore year was online. i don't even think if i have actually learnt anything from school-
I would really like to see a 'study with me' in real-time - I've found those videos are super useful for motivation & it's nice to have the background noise too. It's great for feeling more motivated and less isolated during online learning.

I feel your pain. I too try not to think about spending my last year of high school online.
Nice video! in our college we didn't have a lot of incentive to attend lectures, but out lec were compulsory to attend.

I go to Illinois State University and it's exactly the same experience here. Break out rooms suck and in person class was much higher in quality. Don't get me started on group projects...
I started grad school in January of 2022. The university basically went back to normal, but the graduate school, at least for computing, did not. My degree is fully online and asynchronous. Prior to COVID-19, I couldn't imagine a fully online Data Analytics program online at a brick-and-mortar school.

Good Luck! Be on top of work, do homework don’t copy. Be interested in the class because it’s genuinely a fun class. The long answer questions are annoying but it is what it is. Overall it’s a fun class and gives u a rlly fun perspective on the world also watch Heimlers history and u will be fine!
I’m a freshman at an unspecified top ten university near Chicago, and the human connection point hit pretty damn hard. I’m not a social person in the first place but having to text, FaceTime, and zoom everyone is just rough. Its also notable how little we learn on zoom, I quite literally have not learned a single thing in the last two quarters outside of how to get an okay grade on tests via grinding practice problems. It’s bad, and I really hope college is better in person, cause this is not fun.

3 years ago I commented in 6th grade on your video saying that u was planing ahead u liked it and told me good job this year I am going to my first year into high school
Missed a lote specially when you are doing Mechanical Engineering. I won't blame the professors though. The only thing I was annoyed was with the delay in sending the study material and last minute planning for the schedules and class being cancelled 5mins before it starts which is very annoying and online tests plagued with malpractise.

My senior year of college is the same, and it’s hard because I want to go to grad school in the fall but if life is still like this then idk if I’ll handle it :/

So are you in ROTC right now? I'm on the cusp of being a junior right now... and am thinking about enlisting (or maybe applying for OTS) in the space force after college depending on which MOS I end up pursuing.
yes! I'm in air force rotc and will be commissioning in May!

i'm still struggling with it myself :/
A cup of tea and a 10 minute meditation with no screens/phones/books etc. just sitting quietly and focusing on your breathing and enjoying the tea. Game changer for me

I got accepted REA to Yale but I am considering taking a gap year to avoid all the cons you listed off. Any thoughts on taking a gap year?
If you have the means to do it and can line up an internship or something to keep you busy, I don't think it's a bad idea at all
