Actually the artist read it as signer instead of singer and made that contract art. The original art doesn’t have anything about signing in the art nor name
Not only was it not number one, you didn’t even have perplexing chimera on the list. I built rubinia but had chimera as a secret commander. The whole deck is get them both out thru tutors, steal a spell then tap rubinia to take back the chimera. Then untap Ruby thru any of the normal means to repeat and steal a spell at least once a turn. It’s pretty much the same deck that you have but the chimera can just lock people out the game by them not being able to play a spell without chimera taking it. Then you just run ways to protect and recur the chimera should anything go wrong. I love it so much haha I feel you on this deck being really cool.
I have that deck and my opponents just keep killing me with their tokens, or with decks that barely play any creature at all. Also, rubinia, even though never wins, tends to make you the archenemy of the table for the solely reason that the opponents feel their commander are threatened to be stolen by mine. So, I'm gonna try something different and use some "goad" effects, or cards like Edric that encourage attacking someone else but me.
Ya know another deck you might enjoy in the 'steal your commander' theme, is Marchesa the black rose. I did a video on her a year ago and she's still a favorite of mine!!! Fun fact, she was meant to be Soulsigner but was mistakenly put as singer. Even the art shows her wanting you to sign over your soul. :)
