The Talent system would do A LOT!!! To help the game. Creativity is what I was expecting out of Smite 2. It’s cool when your Bellona doesn’t have to be the same as every other Bellona & is still viable. Increases replayability. And THANK GOD they are changing the map. I never complained cause I know it’s an Alpha map, but it was rough. Lol

If that talent system is something they are genuinely working towards adding, rather than being a relic of development, that by itself would carry the game. They could use that system to essentially alleviate the wait between god releases slowly adding talents for each character and their respective abilities. Like; "Hey no new gods for a few months. But here's 5 new talents for these 5 gods."

I want Odin to get a minor rework. His first and second ability should just be 1 ability with 2 separate activations kinda like susanoo dash and I think his ult should cripple enemies inside it so that they half to beads and jump and lastly while Odin's ult is active auto attacks should launch the spear at enemies like Ao kwongs dragons for the duration he's an important figure as the all father and should be much more fun to play rather than just being I jump at you god

When tsukuyomi gets in they should change his 2 to be slow immune instead of knockup immune then also make it so you can cancel it during the first two swings at a reduced damage (maybe 60%) (So that if he really needs to he can get the stun off quickly at the price of damage) Then they should also like, halve the damage of his ultimate but make him able to teleport back to where he ulted from (if thats too strong they can make him go still for one second before teleporting like the start of chronos ult). Then they should also make his auto attack he gets from the 1 stop on enemy gods but pass through minions to stay true to the cleave effect from his normal autos. They should also greatly nerf the caltrops damage and remove the slow, then add placement damage and a slow to the placement damage (a small amount of placement damage still), and he should move 25% faster while placing them just like with his 2 (but without slow immunity). Then his passive should just become the enhanced autos from abilities only, not just enhanced autos after hitting a target with an auto. And if thats his passive then his 2 should enhance his next auto attack to steal some flat protections from the enemy (no extra range unlike the enhanced autos from his 1 and 3). Then they should make the shuriken pick up range slightly larger (sometimes you can literally melee auto people but the shuriken still wont be picked up). Also they should increase the cooldown of his 2 and/or lower its base damage (I may have given him too many buffs in my suggestions). As a Tsukuyomi main this would make him literally perfect and so fun to play.
I'm still not sold on the whole aspect system. I still fear that over half of the Aspects will be useless. So you have to take the stronger one or you're trolling even before the Match begins. But I'll be happy to be proven wrong on this one.
I know its beloved but god i hope they dont bring back ranked joust, it really just made the casual joust impossible to play which is a shame because thats where i was taken by a friend to learn the game and where i took people to teach them its since been such an awful experience because all you ever play against are full stacks practicing their comps that they get banned out of.
Here's me hoping Aladin will have that 1v1 ultimate. That will save smite for me. Way too many times people just hold hands and 2 or 3v1 you. Maybe Aladin will make them learn how to get good and fight their own battles
@@shadow_58 That was clunky and horribly implemented and not a true cage match. Aladin if the leaks hold true actually transports both players inside his genie lamp and forces the enemy into a 1v1 with him. Look up Revenant from paragon/predecessor . Pretty sure Mordekeiser from LoL does it too.
Those graphics gotta get fixed, maybe I'm crazy and in denial but I hope the graphics and art style is completely overhauled and that the current version is just a joke unfinished "alpha" build since it is an alpha because it looks terrible. The effects are also embarrassing, like they keep saying "new vfx wow" and then its just like the same as smite 1 or even less impactful looking like kukulkans whirlwind

one thing I really missed from paladins going into smite was talents, so glad they're actually considering it for smite

The biggest issue I have with Smite right now is the price of gods and that they can only be bought with diamonds.
Happy for Ullr, but Rat is really the only one I care about. For now, nem has been fun enough to keep me happy.
