225/40 is the correct tyre size for 18 x 9.5 +22 on jzx chassis might be able to get away with no guard rolling, but its your best interest to do so I know the vid is old, just sharing for others Source - have fit wheels and tyres on a dozen jzx / xe10 chassis cars.
hey mate - nice vid ! Just got 2 x questions 1) For similar size/offset wheels do u reckon maybe a thinner profile tyre and a 225 on the front with camber would be sweet ? How about going a 235 with rolled guards ? Looking at some wheel setups as well so i'm looking up what size would be good without being HWP bait lol 2) I saw you're running an intake - which one are u running and have you had any issues with idle mucking around ? Heard that some ppl on 110's have idling issues with aftermarket intakes.
Just gotta give the guard a good ol' roll, on mine I have 18x10,5 +22 with 245/40 tires on the rear and its fine. Only problem is that it hits the bumper attachment point but thats easy to fix

Good to see some work on the JZX, keen to see how you go with 225's and messing around with fitment to avoid rubbing.
Keep up the content mate!
Thank you dude!

That’s the current issue! How did you go about fix hitting the rear bar attachment?
@@LovedayMotorsports I trimmed the bumper guard/lip a little bit from where it was hitting and relocated the mounting point further back
