Hi Karen- so happy to see your smile. Yes- I love hearing about the linen color/count of your projects. I think it’s relevant to many of us as we move into ‘smaller’ counts. I’m timid to try higher count linen as a newer stitcher and your comments are always so encouraging. 😊 I also like seeing your project bags. They’re fun & our cross stitch community can use the eye candy & support too.

Thank you Karen for another wonderful flosstube! I love knowing the linen and count you have selected for your projects - for me, it helps visualize scale. I believe for Harriet Salt, you are using 56 ct and I am surprised at how big she will be on that high count linen! Gorgeous! Look forward to seeing Ann Tong Uffindell - I need to finish Rosa Gromett though before I start Ann! Also, my 8 year old granddaughter has been watching this flosstube and is so impressed that I know a “famous person” on TV! She says “hi”!

Hi Georgia, so glad you enjoyed the video and I always appreciate your thoughtful notes.
Tell your granddaughter I said hello back to her. 🙂👋
Harriet Salt is huge, even on 56 count. I can’t imagine how large she would be on say 36ct. . . massive!
I ordered Harriet kitted from The Attic. I was thankful to have that option, so Jean could give me the exactly what I needed (linen piece and spools). Harriet is lovely, but she is big! 😮

Hi Karen, So nice to see you. What a great organization you did in your closets! Wow!. They look really good. Storing linen is a real question for me as well. I don't want to hang the fabric from skirt hangers because of the pressure of the clips. Kathy from Linen and Scraps, said the only way to store linen is to roll it up. Well I have been doing that, but I find it gets smashed down at the bottom of the bin or holder (which is cloth). I also find it hard to see the linen color. I have begun to put it in a drawer in a cherry dresser, but I don't want to keep it there for the very reasons you sited in your video. So I am back to trying to figure out how to store it. I think to put it in cloth lined baskets is a good idea, but it gets dusty - in my house, which is old and dusty. So I am in a bit of a conundrum about what to do. I'll keep looking and listening to hear what others do and hopefully I will find a solution.
Thank you for sharing the wonderful flosses that Gum Nuts carries. Oh dear, now I am going to go down another rabbit hole. The colors you showed were just splendid. Thank you again for your wonderful video and suggestions and sharing. I always look forward to them and I am never disappointed. Thanks so much!

Another enjoyable video. I love your projects but am amazed at the stitch counts. Do you use a magnifier for the 25 and 46 counts? Wow, I'm getting back into stitching, and 40 is tough, but I think my eyes are dusting with 1.25 magnifier in addition to a clip-on magnifier. I really enjoy your videos and progress.

Yes, I use high powered reading glasses and good light to work in the higher count linen. Some people use a magnifying lamp with a light, that is another option. It takes a little time to find out the perfect set-up for each person.

Right now I have my extra 100.3s in an antique cabinet.
However, most of the 100.3s I have are kitted with projects, either as WIPs or waiting their turn. Right now, I don’t have many extras. (I’m sure that will change with my next visit to The Attic. 😂😂😂)

      Here’s the link
      amzn.to/3LEVg00
Love them and have purchased quite a few.
When you first use them, you have to push down, hard, on the bobbin. However, after doing it once or twice, then the foam will fit the bobbin and they won’t fall out.

      @@bethkieffer4630 no worries.
I’ve had that case for quite a while. I think I got it from either Joan’s or Hobby lobby.
Let me take a look and see if they have something similar online.
      Search for embroidery floss organizer.
I did find this one on Amazon that looks similar:
      www.amazon.com/Janlynn-Corporation-Cross-Stitch-Floss-Holder/dp/B00N37SWX4/ref=mp_s_a_1_14?crid=2E63MPK7Q2C29&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.gtfndLLpCkJMUAa3e_82qnQGIVFDslpkkSfcP2ewdURy9K4qwT8L7YTKIUanjc2cqIvXFAmWb55CNKHTWXWaWbffjJFKU3tWzcPkS8UWyjqH7U3jQuD6tHp8iSOIrB9IBS4p1QyvhoWgiAtHTu5qThq60uJNsMY7JQKH_vB-bLZ4sFgrP38HAJPGSip3dVeRBcAUipPelju7UTgKmOVjVQ.gdkf9IW5wLNKEiFSflkTeiOnwCCikRF74TzgDiCO4Fg&dib_tag=se&keywords=embroidery+floss+organizer+box&qid=1731894909&sprefix=Embroidery+floss+organizer%2Caps%2C223&sr=8-14
but not sure it is the exact one I have.
While searching, make sure it will fit the flat (DMC) bobbins. That is what I originally purchased it for, but find it also fits the Vickki Clayton bobbin’s well.
