Seeing everyone interacting with each other was the best thing in this chapter for me (especially Mem-Cho and Frill). I was happy that Akane is back!!! Also yesterday they post a drawing video of Akane by Kappe (character design of OnK) so it was perfect timing with the release of the chapter.
Loved seeing everyone link up again as well. Gonna be great seeing more interactions as the filming progresses! Mem and Frill was an unexpected one but they seem like they’ll play off each other really well xD

I think Akane is planning to save Aqua from this path of revenge of somehow. She doesn’t want to see him sacrifice everything just for revenge. Since Akane is the Sherlock Holmes of the group, she is going to put two and two together about Ruby and Akane's past lives. She's the only one that can keep up with Aqua. She'll confront Aqua about being Goro. For Aqua and Ruby, they are going to eventually film the scene where they fall in love as Ai and Hikaru. Just more incest vibes and Mengo going to be foaming at the mouth when she is drawing that scene. She wants that kiss and Aka is going to have hold Mengo back almost literally.
I was thinking about that as well. Akane is quite literally the only person in the ENTIRE cast who knows about both aqua and Ruby's connection to goro. It just can't be for no reason. She has all the puzzle pieces, she just needs to arrange them properly. So after reading a bit about Japanese mythology the parallels between the Hoshino family and the mythological deities is quite apparent, the crow girl who's name is Tsukuyomi is the god of the moon, she mentioned something about using the power of the moon to Aqua in the chapter where he tried to recruit her, and in the mythology her 2 other siblings are Amaterasu and Susanoo, Aqua is a parallel to Susanoo cuz according to the mythology Susanoo, who missed his mother, kept crying and howling incessantly until his beard grew long, causing the mountains to wither and the rivers to dry up, this obviously mirrors Aqua's character and his grievance of Ai, and Ruby also said something about her being the embodiment of Amaterasu which would make sense considering the aforementioned connections with how Susanoo, Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi were the 3 children who were given birth to by Izanagi after going to the underworld to visit his dead sister/wife Izanami, they are obviously paralleled by Hikaru and Ai, at first I thought Ruby and Aqua were Izanami and Izanagi cuz of the whole incest thing but it seems unlikely considering how well their characters connect to the 3 children of Izanagi and Izanami, Aka might in fact be hinting to this with the whole incest thing but kinda misleading us into thinking its Ruby and Aqua when its actually Ai and Hikaru, this would also make sense knowing that Ruby and Aqua are playing them in the movie and are going to reveal something about their relationship, and crow girl/Tsukuyomi would also be their sibling according to all these connections, man this shit is too clever lol, I can't wait to see how Aka is gonna explore this whole concept later on in the series, sorry for the essay but I'm a nerd when it comes to writing and all this kinda stuff and I found it so amusing I had to share it lol

Since Akane is the Sherlock Holmes of the group, she is going to put two and two together about Ruby and Akane's past lives. She's the only one that can keep up with Aqua. She'll confront Aqua about being Goro. For Aqua and Ruby, they are going to eventually film the scene where they fall in love as Ai and Hikaru. Just more incest vibes and Mengo going to be foaming at the mouth when she is drawing that scene. She wants that kiss and Aka is going to have hold Mengo back almost literally.
I was thinking about that as well. Akane is quite literally the only person in the ENTIRE cast who knows about both aqua and Ruby's connection to goro. It just can't be for no reason. She has all the puzzle pieces, she just needs to arrange them properly. I think she'll figure something out during the filming process given she's the resident detective of the story, and it might just help her stop aqua in some way. About the incest, yeah no thanks.

So after reading a bit about Japanese mythology the parallels between the Hoshino family and the mythological deities is quite apparent, the crow girl who's name is Tsukuyomi is the god of the moon, she mentioned something about using the power of the moon to Aqua in the chapter where he tried to recruit her, and in the mythology her 2 other siblings are Amaterasu and Susanoo, Aqua is a parallel to Susanoo cuz according to the mythology Susanoo, who missed his mother, kept crying and howling incessantly until his beard grew long, causing the mountains to wither and the rivers to dry up, this obviously mirrors Aqua's character and his grievance of Ai, and Ruby also said something about her being the embodiment of Amaterasu which would make sense considering the aforementioned connections with how Susanoo, Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi were the 3 children who were given birth to by Izanagi after going to the underworld to visit his dead sister/wife Izanami, they are obviously paralleled by Hikaru and Ai, at first I thought Ruby and Aqua were Izanami and Izanagi cuz of the whole incest thing but it seems unlikely considering how well their characters connect to the 3 children of Izanagi and Izanami, Aka might in fact be hinting to this with the whole incest thing but kinda misleading us into thinking its Ruby and Aqua when its actually Ai and Hikaru, this would also make sense knowing that Ruby and Aqua are playing them in the movie and are going to reveal something about their relationship, and crow girl/Tsukuyomi would also be their sibling according to all these connections, man this shit is too clever lol, I can't wait to see how Aka is gonna explore this whole concept later on in the series, sorry for the essay but I'm a nerd when it comes to writing and all this kinda stuff and I found it so amusing I had to share it lol
No worries lol, I enjoy reading theories like these! The twist of Ai and Hikaru actually being the deities would actually work so well with the context given. Aka has given us those little crumbs of foreshadowing at the start, like making us connect Amaterasu with Ruby, but her ending up embodying Ai in the movie, who was actually the deity is like peak writing
