She’s extremely good at what she’s doing and I’m sure that when she’s changing the tempo from the original it’s intentional just because she thinks it would sound fitting. She truly made this into her own song and gave her twist to it. And her voice has a lot of power. Just because she isn’t screaming parts like in the original, doesn’t mean her voice has no power. And also this wasn’t a musical rehearsal, she doesn’t have to get in character, if she wants to cover that in her own version, as a piece that stands alone, it’s actually pretty smart to make it into your own song and not simply get into character. Really I’m sorry if I sound mad, but I just see so many comments of people thinking that they actually have good critique when they clearly just misunderstand the intention of the artist. She “shouldn’t” have to do certain things, you can say that you would’ve done it that way, but guess what, it’s her cover, not yours.

Honestly, this is my favorite cover of First Burn. Not only is her voice so beautiful, but she changed the rhythm so much, giving it different meaning- changing it to more her style. Amazing performance- there is nothing wrong with an unpredictable rhythm. 👍
