A good way to farm some grudges is to hire sacrificial lords that you simply send in to be killed by the enemy, you can get crazy good money/grudge value by doing that and hit the max age of reckoning every time.

You can cheese the Silver Pinnacle vampire armies by placing a lord to the right side of the settlement so that the area of influence blocks the route to the settlement. The vampires will take the long way round through south and basically die of attrition before they get to the settlement.

If CA want to make a starwars total war then they are not competing with the old empire at war - they are competing with the very much current empire at war modding scene. Speaking as a modder(member of a big team) of that game - they will certainly have their work cut out for them. currently the modders of that game have developed: multiple time frame based mods (clone wars, old republic, thrawns revenge era) unit rosters on par with total war warhammer + all its DLC for most mods (ground and space) gfx updates to bring it mostly inline with modern games - including 4k, widescreen support, multi monitor etc. AI updates to make it actually have somewhat of a brain, including path finding fixes. full voice acting. custom maps including terrain features such as nebulae and space stations, cover, 3rd parties.. map size and scenarios many many times bigger than the base game. number of factions from 3 to 30+ depending on the mod. hell the last several patches by the devs were purely to support the strong and current modding community. I can recommend some mods if your interested in checking it out legend.
I love EAW and have been playing it on and off since 2008, nothing against the modders the mods are all dope but the games engine has always held it back because the performance has always been really bad. Something like it only running off of a single processor core or whatever the thing is, most peoples machines struggle with it cos of this and Ive never had a PC be able to run it consistently around 60 fps with any mods attached without it crashing fairly often. EAW still a banger but even with mods it doesn't come close to how smooth a total war game is, even if the settings boring. I mainly just play vanilla nowadays because the crashes and performance even on my Ryzen 7, 4060 pc annoy me too much

The one thing im curious about with stuff like Warhammer40k and Star Wars total war is how it would work. They could be great but a lot of the time, in both series, massive battles are settled at range. Melee does happen of course, but i worry that Warhammer40k and Star Wars total war would deveolve into the setting equivalent if archer spam on all sides.
Can someone that watched the first session explain how he avoided war with the northern chaos waste factions? I don’t have time to watch the whole thing, but that was the biggest issue I had in my malakai campaign
He only got declared war on by Epidemius and Legend just fought two defensive battles with emergency armies until he got a peace treaty. He didn't really do anything else, so maybe just down to luck and being strong enough (having enough armies in good shape all the time) so that they didn't see his faction weak and declare war.
He was always top dog in terms of military power. And he had luck that ursun revivalists were at one point super strong and had warhost of apo on the ropes
I believe dwarfs would be good for the warband system. Although a bit more limited. Dwarf warriors to long beards to iron breakers/hammerers. You could argue other races but I think dwarfs more so than others
On Assassin's Creed Shadow, Ubisoft had an "expert" go and verify the historical accuracy of the game, so Japan went and removed his certification as an expert on Japanese history, the dude literally wrote a fanfiction on medieval Samurai being gay with his servant boys, complete and total joke.

Dwarfs now have a proper air force and the Empire can now deploy entire tank battalions which are faster than most units. Mechs when?
Astragoth is right there 😊
Mechs when they add Gnomes
End Times rune golem? Although we pretty much have Gundams with Cathay xD

No bottom blue skills don't stack. You have multiple engineers for missile strength buff that stacks
