I used carsoft and cleared faults… there’s Freon in the system, the ac off light is turned off. However it doesn’t get cold. Both pressures on high and low side are the same, I’m stumped. Is it the compressor or expansion valves
That is a nice question. Most of the time air builds up on the AC system if not properly vacuumed and cleaned during Freon refill. Also physically check and see if the AC compressor is running when you turn AC on. Those are the common causes of AC blowing hot air. The expansion valve is only applicable if you want heat in the car. Not for cold AC.
@@all-about-cars-basics w220 compressor is always engaged unless disabled by computer due to low freon. usually error 1256 (low freon) i diagnosed the pump, key here was both pressures equalized.. put in new pump, and 4 oz of pag 46... vaccum system for 45 mins and charged with 985 grams of freon. three cans. a/c blows ice cold.
When I cleared the code, I can off EC button and the AC working fine, but the problem back again after few months, I can’t switch off EC button please let me know if there is a permanent solution. Thanks in advance

You have a leak in your freon line. Fix it and that mode will not come back again.
Do you have a video explain how to fix it
