- Here is the extremely rare video for The Pogues 1993 single 'Tuesday Morning' in HQ for the first time on youtube.
Fans of the group were divided over the release of 1993's 'Waiting for Herb' due to the loss of Shane MacGowan as lead singer. However Spider Stacy pulled off a cracking lead vocal for this irresistible pop single. - เพลง
Damn spider Stacy is underrated. Sounds like The clash with folk instruments.
After they'd already had Joe Strummer on vocals for the 1991 concert I thought Spider was a very good replacement for Joe lol
Yes, saw Joe Strummer with The Pogues live, also Spider but never Shane. lol
His voice might be preferable to Shane's for some, but by Christ someone do something about that constipation.
yes
Oh, how I love this. 😊
Why TF do they even have a dislike button for this magnificent work?
There are always going to people who don't agree with the masses I guess. If most like it you can say very popular. I'm a big fan of Elvis but there are some who don't like his work.
Because People Who Think They Matter...Don't..
I believe this was the Pogues first album without Shane MacGowan, after splitting with him over his drinking & unpredictability, so naturally everyone wondered if they would be any good without him. I remember buying it when it first came out in’93, taking it home, putting it on, then sitting back apprehensively to await the verdict, and……it was beautiful. A little different, obviously, a little softer, more nuanced, but it was still the Pogues, and still amazing musicians. 🙏☘️🎶🎭
I don’t know that thanks for sharing
Absolutely my favorite Pogues song
I agree. Brilliant 👏
Mine too.
Mine, too! Every time this song comes up on my music playlist, it ends up on perma-loop for 5-6 plays before I let it move on to the next song.
Before A Fairytale of NY was sanctified, this was the Pogues best selling single
Yes and it’s notable it was Spider who wrote it. He is underrated as a singer. I love his voice, it has a sensuality that talks to me. It’s unfair to compare him to Shane all the time. They are two different persons with different voices. I’ve been a Pogue-fan for many years and saw they in Gothenburg back in 1988. Right now in december 2023 my favourite album is PogueMahone where Spider is totally brilliant.
@@flodah01201 Yes, his voice! I totally agree!!! I love it.
Gothenburg? Floda? Greetings from Majorna ;-)
Spider is brilliant, saw him in London this year at Pogues reunion. God bless.
I greatly enjoyed this very recorded performance.RIP,Shane.Your band members and family have my condolences. This tune doesn't get played enough where I live.
Too many sad days
Too many Tuesday mornings
I thought of you today
I wished it was yesterday morning
I thought of you today
And I dreamt you were dressed in mourning
But I knew that you
With your heart beating and your eyes shining
Would be dreaming of me
Lying with you on a Tuesday morning
I fell through the window
And I found out I was still breathing
I thought of tomorrow
And the fear that you might leave me
I thought of tomorrow
And I wished it was Monday evening
But I knew that you
With your heart beating and your eyes shining
Would be dreaming of me
Lying with you on a Tuesday morning
Turn your face from me
I will cover myself with sorrow
Bring Hell down upon me
I will surrender my heart to sorrow
Bring Hell down upon me
And I will say goodbye tomorrow
'Cause I know that you
With your heart beating and your eyes shining
Would be dreaming of me
Lying with you on a Tuesday morning
I know that you
With your heart beating and your eyes shining
Would be dreaming of me
Lying with you on a Tuesday morning
From the most under rated album ever. Waiting For Herb
So pleased for Spider that he wrote this song, its magnificent
CRAP MATE AND YOU KNOW IT!!!!!!
@@johnbarrett5229 Did you accidently find the song and watch it on youtube ?🤣🤣🤣
This has become my favorite pop song of all time.
Underrated tune for sure
A massive track and all the credit must be given to the Pogues and Spider Stacy but can you imagine this massive song performed by Shane????? What a shame! What a pitty! Honestly!!!It would have been out of this ***king world!!!
Still listening in 2021. Brings back great memories
The singer killed it. Great performance.
11/9/2019 and Still listening.
Amazing song happy st Patrick’s day ☘️☘️☘️☘️
First time hearing this song! Spider and the band did a great job.
Say no more!
Brilliant song!! Full of loveache and wistfullness underscored by pure musical genius! It's a fantastic song!
It truly is & so transcendent, it's timeless!
I feel the same when listening to this song...
God I love this song.
This is the first song I put on when I get to the pub.
What an outstanding, beautiful tune. On repeat constantly 😃😃
Spider killed it. RIP Shane
The sheer beauty of the sound these amazing musicians can make. Just wonderful.
Stumbled across this on a classic top of the pops episode 😂 heard a few Pogues tracks before but never this one. Love it
Great song ❤️☘️
Brilliant !! Didn't even know they did a video of this song. God bless from Irish Rover.
30 years on and love this song as the first time!!!
Absolutely friggin' brilliant!
You got a mandolin, fiddle, guitar, and drum we got the makings of a party. Love this song I have always been a fan of the rollicking Irish bands, especially the Irish Rovers. Great music 😃
Never seen this before, absolutely brilliant! Cheers for this m8.
Best post- Shane song!
DISCOVERED THE POGUES AT 15 IN A MATES GARAGE. NOW 53 NEVER LOOKED BACK.
The nostalgia is overwhelming
Perfection
Parmi mes meilleurs souvenirs live.
What a fantastic lively track, excellent!
Thank you.
This is a great tune by standards of any band in any decade of rock n roll!
Love this song vibe...what a great morning to start off!!!......"Tuesday morning, are u dreaming of me"........
So much beauty makes me cry
Love this song - they mail slotted it’s release & I bought it blind (was on the mailing list for the saw docs ) never regretted it brilliant intro & joe strummers influence is clear
what a song
It may not be the best Pogues song EVER, but it is still an awesome song and one I would have been proud of if it was my own. Just shows how good the Pogues were, with or without Shane.
One my favourites, and it's up there with Shane's lyrics bless him😢
Damn, I love this song
Even though no Shane still a classic
Yes it is
I love this album
Can someone state the obvious, please. Spider is f...ing gorgeous. And great song too. :)
YES! Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks Spider's gorgeous!
Me too!
Jan. 6 2021 still listening.
Great song...shared to the Netshows Radio "Program 116" Playlist on youtube
A CLASSIC
Love this tune
Amazing song love it 😍
Can't wait for the biopic on Shane MacGowan from Johnny Depp!
Reminds me of a lover. Excelente!
very lovely on a Tuesday morning - thank you
Savage song spider underrated voice
Superb,amazing song🔥🔥
Best song in the world 🎉
Brilliant
Crap on Spider Stacy all you want. He wrote a classic pop song. Period, end of story. Even sang the hell out of it on Letterman while he was clearly drunk off his ass. Much better teeth than the other guy, too.
Super super stuff👏👏👏
Pure class
Love this song
Great song
Love this ♥️
Wonderful song...I like Spider's voice♡
🕯RIP🖤Shane
Happy Birthday Shane MacGowan born on December 25, 1957. He is an Irish-English singer, songwriter, and musician. He is best known as the lead singer and songwriter of Celtic punk band the Pogues. - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shane_MacGowan
Incidentally this song was from the album without Shane
@@Mentally_Will Ask me if I give a Flying Fuck!
Good shit.
I Think the best pogue albums are the two that spider stacy sang lead on. Waitin for herb and pogue mahone. I believe it's their best albums
How the fuck am I only hearing this now
I don't know why in the era that Shane was kicked to the curb and Spider was placed on lead vocals that Spider didn't continue to play the tin whistle between lyrics.
RIP Shane MacGowan
Mean banjo😮
That's a great tune. He looks and sounds like Dee Dee Ramone.
HOCUS POCUS 80'S NEW ROMANTICS BAND
Rip Shane
how fine it is
I actually thought it was joe strummer singing before I saw this video. Spider sounds like joe on this
パペポTV!
Top ainda em 12 de 2021
I wan to see this used over the end credits of a film
The Bolloxs!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Love this tune. Me and my girlfriend anthem ❤
Les pogues sans shane macgowan viré du groupe en 1991, ils ferons deux bon album par la suite.

Pogues крутые!!! Лайк!!!
This is far from being the best Pogues song. It's so... basic. It won't leave even a scratch in the story of music. And as far as I'm concerned, it's not connected to any important moments or memories...
Nope. I'll never understand why I love this song SO freaking MUCH.
Maybe Its just because its a great melody? And great too with the banjo...
An iconic Pogues song in my opinion.
吉本です。いいっすねぇ!
If they'd lend me £50, I'd buy them a drink.
TOO MANY MAD MONDAYS THEN YESTERDAY TUESDAY MOURNING
I feel he's genuinely singing how great Tuesday mornings are. Except now he has this terrible foreboding she will leave him. Unbearable. So we're hearing from a dead man. Or on his way out the window.
I loved Shane, but Spider added something that was missing, a vulnerable tone
First single after McGowen. Loved it but the album wasn’t the best. Got to say Shane is the man
I also seen this line up live as well as original.to be honest spider fronted the band well. This was a great song but the album was only OK.
Makes me want to get stoned immaculate
I GOT CATHY I GOT CATHY I GOT CATHY AND COFFEE AND TEA
Joe strummer it is not but a excellent voice all the same,I think the clash and the pogues have played on the same stage, and I think they drank together in and around Camden the clash drank in the crown in Chalk Farm primrose hill area and Shane was a feature in most pubs in camden
