Ah Timmy man, sorry to hear you hit burn out I have noticed you hit a lot of videos in a short time period, take care dude we need you fit and healthy. I guess there’s a slower release the Calum before the storm of more iem releases, talking of which I’m so looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Fat Freq Duece, when your ready and have it 😄. Meanwhile it’s awesome learning more tools and tricks, helps discover new possibilities and understanding FR/graphs. Great to see you back 🤙
You do a great job. Got to get your work outs in, cardio, weights, sun in the eyes, 😅 go swim around in the ocean. Music and great audio gear is only one part of self care and happiness.
Wait for your advance EQ tutorial , timmy .. Deal with burn out are damned thing for human 😂 .. glad you back with more healthy vibe .. thanks timmy ..
Hi! It'd be really nice if you linked the previous video either in the description, or as a pop-up when you mention it. That way viewers can easily go and watch that video instead of ignoring it because they don''t want to search through your channel page to find it
Hello sound lover's, can you review the KZ ZS10 pro and KZ ZS10 pro2 and if you can compare them with elysian pilgrim iem's, aka cheap vs mid range comparison. Thanks🤗❤️
Likewise subbass adjustments can affect how things like cymbals can come across. A ride/crash has a surprising amount of subbass texture to it depending on how the drummer is playing.
I want emphasis on Male Vocals . How to EQ that? My 7hz zero sounds bassy to me . Male vocals sound thin.6 year old Tin T2 sounds more neutral to my ears than 7hz zero. Isn't there any FLAT iems in budget segment?
Giz, please update your perfect eq database whenever possible. Though you should take rest for a few days I guess. I've bought moondrop chu II waiting for it to arrive. Hope I can see your signature in it.
Use tone generator in squigs, and find the peak that hurts the most, then reduce it to around -5dB or less. Finding sibilance can be hard cause it is sometimes caused by upper treble peak which graphs don't usually represent properly.
I've heard that while we can't hear anything about 20K, we might still be able to perceive some of the air above the 20K freq, is there any truth to that?
Without examples, this is all pure theory and absolutely incomprehensible. Again, it’s not clear whether to adjust the equalizer for each song or what to do if you listen to different genres.
Start by EQing to match a recognised target frequency response. That should give you a neutral-ish sound that works for everything. For most people, that’s enough. You might feel you then want to tweak the bass/treble per song if you don’t like hearing differences between songs, but that’s a matter of preference.
I mean if you know how it works it definitely makes everything well when used right even when making songs, the producers use some eq to enhance or adjust it to an effect that they like from the mics or those elements that make the beats and accompanied rhythm

love the ambient lighting!
Yes, for the advanced lesson u could teach us how to EQ with certain options like tone control or "limiter" with apps like Wavelet or Poweramp
When will you release your new ranking list?
I love the natural feel coming from this new camera / colorgrade but the focus seems soft or unfocused... Good video anyway !
You do a great job. Got to get your work outs in, cardio, weights, sun in the eyes, 😅 go swim around in the ocean. Music and great audio gear is only one part of self care and happiness.
Nice video. Really helpful. Thanks. Take care.

Nicely Done.
Keep these tutorials coming.
Thanks
That's a interesting topic. I realized I still have to learn a lot about eq-ing. Thanks.
Thanks for this video, learned something new
That's why I use AutoEQ when I want to thanks for making it simple 🙏🏼

That's a very helpful video. I love eq-ing.
Was thinking of this video .... Bro you made my day 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 ....
I was just watching the first Eq video just yesterday

Thanks🤗❤️
The fact that bass texture is affected by upper mid and treble is mind blowing. Gonna try it out to increase the tactility and texture on my Scar mini
Likewise subbass adjustments can affect how things like cymbals can come across. A ride/crash has a surprising amount of subbass texture to it depending on how the drummer is playing.
If you look at the spectogram of drum kits/bass guitars they actually have harmonics past the bass region. HBB explains it well in his videos.
Excellent video very helpful 👍
Finally giz answer my question for graphic eq setup 😂
Tangzu waner Studio Edition sounds great, you should try it. ต้องลองครับ นักร้องนำ ธรรมชาติ ฟังสบาย มีมิติ สมูทสุดๆ
Learned a lot, thanks ❤
thanks for the guide
Yeah!
I want emphasis on Male Vocals . How to EQ that?
My 7hz zero sounds bassy to me . Male vocals sound thin.6 year old Tin T2 sounds more neutral to my ears than 7hz zero.
Isn't there any FLAT iems in budget segment?
So when are we getting the DIY-EM guide Timmy? In all seriousness take breaks man, burn out sucks try to slow down a bit
Which IEM is an example of a smooth treble response?
LESGOOOO EQ VIDEO
And remember, don't skip any part (or chapters) of EQ tutorials, or it's gonna be pure madness down the road : ) 👍🏻
When will you review perfumes?
Giz, please update your perfect eq database whenever possible. Though you should take rest for a few days I guess. I've bought moondrop chu II waiting for it to arrive. Hope I can see your signature in it.
Can you make a video using squiglink?
Please do full review of hype 4 vs dusk
By any chance you also review fragrance ? I feel like ive seen you reviewing fragrance year ago ? Am i trppin ?
If you tired, take a rest. (While also updating ranking list) 😅
Please just come out of denial and tell us you have been trying the Kefine Delci AE and you couldn't take them out of your ears... 😊
Is it that good?
@@Musicophile-p5l 💯
thanks for covering this! one question: how can I reduce sibilance with EQ? I'm guessing it's around 6k or 8k region but can't quite pinpoint...
8K :)
Use tone generator in squigs, and find the peak that hurts the most, then reduce it to around -5dB or less. Finding sibilance can be hard cause it is sometimes caused by upper treble peak which graphs don't usually represent properly.
So how do i actually eq ?
I've heard that while we can't hear anything about 20K, we might still be able to perceive some of the air above the 20K freq, is there any truth to that?
“Perceive the air”, bro is learning some secret audiophile technique

Ahhh no one EQ for each song as far as I know. EQ is to remedy things you don't like about your IEM's tuning.
Nothing exciting? No love for the FatFreqxHBB collab?!
That's not even out yet lol. It's still in pre-order. In the video I was referring to stuff that came out recently.
🎉
He sold his soul to lo-fi.
Perfect EQ database is dead
hello there Imagine Scent 😉
Weeeeee😅
Too much water and banal statements
All EQ does is change how (often destroys how) the track sounds. It is impossible to alter a frequency response from EQ.
Good video as always though.
wat
I need an explanation easy to digest
This is just dead wrong on all levels.
I mean if you know how it works it definitely makes everything well when used right
even when making songs, the producers use some eq to enhance or adjust it to an effect that they like
from the mics or those elements that make the beats and accompanied rhythm
Gee I wonder how the track would sound "different" with the SAME frequency response. :D
