I live in front of a lake outside of Montreal and they are everywhere. We also see cardinals blue jays, owls. The beautiful wildlife is one of the nicer things about living out here

my uncle in Langley, BC a few miles away has had the same pair of C. geese raise a large brood for over fifteen years. They now tolerate a young couple , probably at least one being their progeny. We built a float nest box in the large pond for them. They crop over three acres clean and never lose a gosling to a predator.

These ARE Canadian geese, in that it appears that they live in Canada. But their species name is Canada Goose--the plural of which is Canada geese, not Canadian geese.
not geese lol they will mess you up if you try to scare them to touch them. they walk around my town like gangsters you can tell where they have been because of the trail of poop. and they insist on walking on the side walk for some reason
Crappy children. Those geese are nice and orderly out for their morning walk like everyone else. I would have a fit if some parent let their little heathen run amok scaring the natural world. Oh my bad, did you fall in the water after I scared you you little creep.

A) those weren't chicks with the adults, they were adolescents. and B) they can be vicious creatures with the wing beatings and the biting and the hey hey ouch it hurts. Only option is to show them you're not afraid and give them a good kick if necessary- they go for the face when aggressive, no messin' around.
The goslings are all now in the water following mom with dad keeping them safe from the rear...its beautiful to see the wildlife returning to the now empty spaces
The mainlanders are like mmmmmm, yum yum so good😋 The others are like..cute, awwww..jackets! Nope but really I'm just gonna buy recycled down jacket. Period.
The most beautiful thing about Canada is how the country is shared equally by humans and Animals/Birds.
