You know what fits perfectly in those 3 inches of open space between the ceiling and the cupboards..? Dust, dead moths and dead spiders. Why didn't they just take them all the way to the top? Or seal it off?

Yes its all about the location. The asylum seekers dont want to be housed that far from London. But on the other side 10 polish people who work in a car wash dont mind sharing a one bed flat so then it becomes more affordable

It's a lovely house, to be fair.
But, being right on a road, with a miniscule back garden, I think it's rather overpriced frankly. Especially as there was a lot of background noise too.
Be very lucky to get more than 850k once the market crashes.

I Think I will offer them a tenner for the fridge as im loving all the dents in the doors at 1:50 ish then they could get one that fits flush with what he calls bespoke cupboards with seamless designs. If it was seamless then the owners would not walk into the fridge doors when walking past them.

Not sure why British architects design homes with narrow circular staircases, especially when they have tight turns like in this house. You can basically use only the outer half, unless you don't mind slipping/tripping walking up the inner part of the stair. Besides, how do the movers get a piece of furniture, especially a sofa, dresser, or an armoire up those narrow circular stairs? Better to have straight stairs, with a landing, and right angle turns. And why three stories, or floors? Brits must love climbing stairs to build those leg muscles.

There are so many homes with bifolding doors in England. Does that mean no mosquitoes, moths, other crawlies?
    Because I am jealous.

    • @sandrawestley4193
      @sandrawestley4193 ปีที่แล้ว

I think a lot depends where you live, we don’t get pestered with mozzies, we are in the midlands, not near any large scale water I suppose, we do get moths, but not many. We have a place down in North Devon and there’s much more of a problem with moths and small insects, but again not really mozzies.

Its been the fashionable thing for a few years now. The old Style Patio doors in a house like that are simple and mostly cheaper. 2 door frames 2 pieces of glass in each door( if double glazed) ,now its 3,4,5 door frames and 2 pieces of glass per door frame (if only double glazed) 3 doors 6 pieces of glass, 4 doors 8 bits and so on so in theory cost more to purchase because of the extra metal/ upvc plastic involved. A regular patio door has one fixed panel the second panel then slides to open. The Bi-folds have multiple moving doors with hinges to help them fold next to each other so more things to go wrong with them. But the more people that buy bi-folds the better for me, the more glass they need to go in them so it keeps me in a job. (Says some one who works on the glass for these units, it takes longer to cut 8 bits of glass for a 4 door unit than 4 bits of glass for a 2 door patio unit.

1- One of a series of exceedingly poor properties, none of which would qualify as luxury or even interesting properties. I still can't seem to find one redeeming feature that qualified it to be presented on this channel. Wouldn't take it for free and never live in such a disgusting property.
2- No views of and access to a beach with soft, white sand or warm, crystalline waist high water, or a lake, a river, or a major city? So, I don't see what the charm would be to me in terms of views of and access to places of interest for activities or entertainment?
3- No majestic or grand dimensions, so I can't seem to figure the hidden luxury that this lousy property has on offer.
3- No multiple indoor and outdoor venues of recreation and activities, so I can't seem to think of any value to this property, aside from that of cocooned, vegetative hibernation.
4- No masculine, sturdy, and elegant furniture, so I can't see to figure the hidden aesthetic appeal to this property.
5- This truly is quite a horrible property.

The area is fairly expensive compared to the rest of the UK and the Midland's to begin with, It's in the Midlands, not everyone wants beaches etc. It's not like it's a shock, in terms of travel, Coventry and Birmingham aren't far from the location, smaller properties and older properties in the area are well over 500k+ already. Assuming your from the UK you'll know travel isn't the end of the world and plenty travel from this area to London, Birmingham on a daily basis. Lastly plenty people have good money round here and like the peaceful area and reasonably low crime rates

@@matthewswann2525 Thanks for making the effort to explain the area to me. This property falls short of fulfilling my lifestyle requirements for multiple, large and wide-open indoor and outdoor spaces for living, socializing, and recreating. At best, I would prefer proximity to a major university city, like London, Oxford, Cambridge, or even Cardiff or another city for my children, all of whom are under 7 at the moment. @@assetstopurchase8432 fair opinion but that's why there is lots of properties for sale, not all fit every taste and values. The value of this property is high but nothing majorly extraordinary for the area. Plus this is a 1.1 Million property not 3 or 4. So therefore probably not half the value of the same house. I'm assuming your not local cause if you saw some of the houses in the area selling for 500-800k you'd realise this isnt that badly priced at all, some people don't want to move away, plus it's all in £s not dollars so even more than you pointed out lol
