The best camera is the camera you have with you. I am a retired photographer that got tired of carrying gear everywhere and am also pretty tired of extensive post processing. I use a S24 Ultra now as my primary camera because I always have it with me and the pictures it takes are almost always exceptional right out of the box. I lean toward the "postcard" look anymore because it packs the most wow factor. And the Samsung's auto processing packs in a lot of wow into a small space that I prefer and feel a photograph actually needs to make it appealing and attention getting to the average eye. I call it the punch factor. This is of course personal preference. But most of the people I show my pictures to seem to feel the same way. There's a reason people like postcards.
Ah yes… The reason I left Samsung (Android) years ago for iPhone pro max - Samsung promising to fix camera issues with updates after a new phone launches - and would never fix anything. Camera Focusing issues in low light, bad video quality, slow shutter speeds, etc. I know iPhone is not perfect - but one thing I love about iPhone is its consistency. You will never see iPhone pro model with bad video quality issues, slow shutter speeds, or focusing issues

Apple makes a good phone. Samsung makes a good phone that can multi task... all depends on what you need and want. The majority of android phone's are no good, but buy a flagship Samsung, and you can screen mirror Netflix for the kids while watching/listening to a podcast TH-cam while surfing the web all from one device! For me these functions are used every day but for most people they are ok with just a phone. I also wouldn't be able to go back to something without waterproofing or 10x optical zoom. The list goes on and on and typically the only complaints are from other Apple user's complaining about poor multimedia sharing or no imessage bubbles but that is all Apple programming to make people not like android and it really works! It's all in your ecosystem and what you need/wan, but there is no argument about what device can multitask better! IMO

Because I don't use these AI tools in most of the time in my daily life and I really care about the cameras for taking not standart photos in Auto mode. As you said 90% of people will not use it professionally, but I wanted to be in that 10% of people who would like to create with this phone. And you told me everything about this phone for photography. Need to test it now :) thanks for this review❤
My husband does not like the iphone for the same reasons you listed (he shoots a Z8) I'm still thinking about the Samsung for reasons other than the camera. I would not mind a phone I can do my night neon shoots so I do not have to figure out how to conceal my camera for safety.

@@RanftEvan Oh ok then! Good work there! As someone who has influence to the audience, and given that you have the knowledge, I would expect from you to inform the people about this difference of ExpertRAW and Pro (mode) RAW of the Samsung.
How about installing a gcam port on the s24 ultra and then checking out the RAW files from that ? Gcam manages to get more detail from the ultras cameras and the RAW files are better too.
Thanks for this. As a photographer, I get tired of reviewers only comparing SOOC jpegs. I shoot raw and edit all pics in LR, even if just to do a few quick adjustments. At this point I really don't see the point in someone spending $7,000 on a camera or even $1,000 for that matter. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max already take such high quality pictures that the miniscule differences you might see when comparing them to a professional camera are so negligible that you might as well just spend your money on one of these two flagships if you want a great camera experience, not to mention thousands of other features.
So the Iphone better raw but doesnt have a profesional mode ... i like more iphone for video but for photography i think android in general with the main app have more options because i think photography its no just 1 click and later i fix in lightroom.

The default camera app produces better raw files without sharpening and noise reduction. They need more work to edit them, but the final result is way better than iPhone and pixel 8 pro.
Bro stop selling lies. Non of the phones have the high iso performance, low noise level, fine detail and editing flexibility of the full frame mirrorless. Zoom it at just 50 - 100% and its not even close. A phone over a larger stacked /BSI sensor with larger pixels??? really? No real professional is gonna choose a phone to shoot high fashion, editorial, weddings, sports. Only landscape due to computational photography in phones with hdr tech.
As a self taught landscape photographer, James Kropp Photography (my personal photography website). I know that 200 mp is overkill from a tiny camera sensor in a smartphone. I have used Apple ProRAW to make amazing photos with the proper editing setup. This is someone who doesn’t take into consideration the Leica has better use of its megapixels than a smartphone camera even does. This is not a fair comparison because a real camera takes better photos than a smartphone. It is made to take photos and not be used on a phone.
That’s the reason I switched to iPhone pro years ago. I was getting frustrated with all the bugs from every Samsung launch - then they would promise fixes with software updates that took forever to come out - that wouldn’t fix any of the issues. Like you said - (Consistency) - That’s what Apple products provide - Consistency with the camera - and still to this day has the best video recording quality of all the competition. Now, is everything perfect? No it’s not - but with each new release the technology will keep getting better with new software, and updated sensors
@edgargalicia5071 It is definitely NOT more professional. The iPhone is for kids and people that can't understand technology. The selling point for iPhones is that they are easy to use and plays games better. Sounds like it's directed towards children to me...

I don't think it's that simple. What the reviewer said was that you'd get a "better" raw file out of the iPhone, but I wouldn't necessarily call it a phone for professional photographers due to more limited manual options when shooting compared to the Samsung. So no, there's no just black and white here, which the reviewer tried to convey in the end.
Both are junk. Oversharpening and edited to max crap. Wake me up in 5 years. It got stagnation. Apple decided to increase the sharpening even more in updates wich made it worse. Apple doing copy of samsung software and samsung folowing apple with design.

Guy, I like ur idea and wat ever. Buh after watching am like no, dis dude is confuse. Just go straight to de point, man!!!
i just bought s24 ultra and somehow it doesnt satisfies me😂😂
maybe as an average user i didnt know the best setting to make out the best picture
Me too!!
Same!! 🙃
Its pretty clear that from the macbook and shoe photo that he is a iphone fanboi
Consistency is key. Apple does a better job
That’s the reason I switched to iPhone pro years ago. I was getting frustrated with all the bugs from every Samsung launch - then they would promise fixes with software updates that took forever to come out - that wouldn’t fix any of the issues. Like you said - (Consistency) - That’s what Apple products provide -
Consistency with the camera - and still to this day has the best video recording quality of all the competition.
Now, is everything perfect? No it’s not - but with each new release the technology will keep getting better with new software, and updated sensors
iPhone is better. Sammy needs updates
thats all the apple users can say too
15 pro records in log.. *drops mic*
Everyone doesn't use log... or want to use it...
@@lbeetech thanks for stating the obvious
@@lbeetechThat's why the iPhone is more professional
@edgargalicia5071 It is definitely NOT more professional. The iPhone is for kids and people that can't understand technology. The selling point for iPhones is that they are easy to use and plays games better. Sounds like it's directed towards children to me...
@@lbeetech Your comment is what is for children. You know why it plays games better? Because the performance is better. Games, video, apps, you name it. Way more power! What does recording professional video in log have to do with kids. You sound like a kid.
I don’t agree with you! It’s clear that you are an Apple hater
Terrible review. He himself is confused to what he is saying
😂 please share your review..
@@rushabh.parmar there are lot of commercial famous ones with lies such as sufersaf, mrwhoistheboss. But there are some non famous technically accurate ones as well such as this one. th-cam.com/video/J4k5gLMjr-k/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rzuNkMPiEfMg5nxy
Если чувак говорит, что s24 лучше в портретом режиме чем 15pro - он или лжец, или не фотограф.
So, professional photographer > Iphone and random people > Samsung
Camera's are subjective,
Which is evident by the fact there are a lot of photographers on TH-cam who praise the S24U
The way I understood is that the iPhone is for professional who want more editing on their raw pictures.
@@arturl4019 I think I'll just buy a Google pixel 8 pro then 😂
@@Naroomsc2 you might do just as well. Drop your comments here when you get one 😉
Iphone provides a ram immage where samsung’s immage gets optimized by ai which for a photographer is not useful
So iphones are better
Both are junk. Oversharpening and edited to max crap. Wake me up in 5 years. It got stagnation.
Apple decided to increase the sharpening even more in updates wich made it worse.
Apple doing copy of samsung software and samsung folowing apple with design.
Buy a BLU
I want that video bro thanks for the hard work!
