- Here's a video of Union Pacific freight trains at CP East Redondo in Los Angeles, California on 2/23/13. (Including Union Pacific local, double stack/intermodal, manifest but nothing special)
Excellent video!! I love the power the intermodal conveys. At the begining were all those cars comming from or going to the grain elevator on Alameda and 55 Street, Because I driven by that place and have seen a long string of ATSF grain cars park there.
Great stuff as usual Snuffy!, one wonders if having four Gensets instead of two standard locos on the point is more economical??. I suppose the number crunchers have done the sums and it works out cheaper?.I wonder how the starter- motors go on all those "small" engines starting and stopping all day long?. Thanks for sharing mate.
