The music is bright and fun, the animatronics are great and there’s more than before. The California ride has even better theming than Florida. This ride is a hoot compared to before. It’s hilarious to see a video like this where the narrator seems very clearly intent on putting the ride down. Silent through all the fun and looking for absolutely anything to try and complain. It’s weak, open yourself up to joy in life. I get it you think updating is a slap to tradition. But this ride objectively is much better now and fits great with an IP kids have heard of.

They left out the villain who is super popular probably the most popular character out of everyone. Now all of a sudden the ride is constantly down and broken. They should of never replaced splash mountain. James Franklin Baskett won an academy award for his performance in song of the south way back in 1948. People seem to skip over that fact 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Most people understand that the villain died in the movie and given that Tiana is out walking in the park with her restaurant open and having a wonderful time the theme fits as a land. I get not wanting the classic ride to be gone, but objectively after the normal tech issues of new rides this is a better ride for today’s kids.
Can you remember any of the songs? The animatronics are second rate, you want to see real animatronics watch the Dark Universe preview. That tells you where are the talented imagineers, they are working at Universal. The ride is garbage compared to Splash Mountain and it is all the resort is getting for the next five to seven years!

Disney feared a backlash on Disney+ because of George Floyd, so Disney, without even taking the temperature, removed the most popular amusement park ride in the world (Still in Disney Tokyo) and replaced it with this sad attraction. This is all the Disney Resort is getting for the next five to seven years and when the new rides do open, I fear they will be just as uninspiring because all their talented imagineers have left years ago.
Ride looks OK. They could have done better by adding the villain. This ride seems to have a different narrative than the actual movie? Yes there are small scenes from the movie, but the whole theme is different. The other rides in Disneyland like Snow White, Peter Pan, follow the storyline of the movie and have the VILLAINS. This one does not? Very weird. Disney could have made this a great ride if they added more similarities to the movie in my opinion. It doesn't look like a ride that I would like to "keep on going on again"Thanks for this video!
The ride has nothing to do with the animated feature. It is supposed to be 10 years after. They were afraid Dr. Facilier was too scary for kids so they created a story without him. To be exact they have three stories. The first one was you were supposed to be looking for s secret ingredient, then you were supposed to be looking for Louie’s trumpet and last the missing band member. Thanks for watching the video!
Talk about horrible takes. The ride was only refitted to placate a possible backlash to Disney + because of George Floyd. By your logic they should replace Pirates, Space Mountain, Matterhorn, Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, etc. because they are all older than Splash and most got less foot traffic. Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah with an unremarkable song at the end of the ride. No one was singing it or clapping to it. The ride is disjointed because the imagineers couldn’t make up their minds what the theme was going to be. Tiana doesn’t look like Tiana because instead of making a new animatronic, they recycled ones from The Beauty and the Beast ride in Disney Paris. The ride is only connected to the animated feature because they have the same characters in it. They removed Splash Mountain because it was deemed racist but replaced it with something even more racist. Horrible job all the way around Bob!
