Such pretty cards! I love the blue one because if I added a HAPPY HANNUKAH sentiment on the bottom instead of the Happy Birthday sentiment, it could look like a Menorah with the 9 candles.
Both are really pretty cards but I think I like the white one best. LOVE your style!!

The white card is pretty and its a classic Laura Fadorda card design but I'm really loving the blue card!! You are so right when you say the bright rainbow colours pop against the background, yet still clean and simple! Thanks for sharing!
Both cards are winners. I like the effect with the blue card but the simplicity of the white background is also classy. Hank is so precious under your desk. Hope he warms your toes! Fingers crossed for IKEA to come through for you on the 17th! And how sweet for your husband to find you a temporary fix to your shelving situation.
Laura, your candle cards made my morning! You never fail to make me smile. I do think I like the blue peek a boo card the best. But both are really clever. I don't know the back story about your IKEA shelf unit, but I know what you mean when you have stuff sitting on the floor. Drives me nuts too. My craft room storage is, shall we say, eclectic (sounds better than nothing matches). I'm 3 hours away from the closest IKEA in Chicago, so I don't have any of the nice matching furniture. But I do have plastic drawers and a hanging closet shelf thingy that's on the sturdier side in the closet. Yes, it does help to close the door! My other shelves are the wire kitchen looking things from Amazon, but boy they do hold a lot of stuff! Brightroom storage things from Target too. Equal opportunity organized chaos! Both cards are beautiful and I have to say I thought you were going to die cut all those colored candles, you sure made it easier on yourself by paper piecing. You are so smart! Like so many, I like them both too! But if I pick one, it would be the blue one. I was pleasantly surprised by all the tricks you did to make it easy. I envisioned lining up all those individual candles under the blue topper. The white gel pen took it to a whole new level. Beautiful cards, in rainbow order, as usual!
