This is so much better than cutting up to 10 shapes to glue together! I even like this better than the full shakers because I somehow always warp mine. Brilliant, and thanks for sharing this!

Those owls are so cute! Ive been following your channel about a year and I love that you use products that are older and some newer. Some craft channels only show you the brand new stuff one time and then you never see it again! Love from the USA Bobby

Hi, I just wanted to say thank you for showing that you don't always need the latest new stuff to have fun and being creative. I keep getting the urge to buy new stuff all the time and then I don't use it. But from watching your video's I now feel inspired to see what I have and use that first instead of buying it. That is really what I needed to see, because I struggle with myself for always spending money.

not only is the shaker so easy seeming, but i really like how you manage to incorporate premade items, like the owls...have seen some of yours with rub ons, recently, too. these are things that i lack at using up.

If I was going to do this, I think I would make the pocket with one layer of vellum for the back, but a layer of acetate for the front so you can see the pretty colors of the gems in the shaker. It would be interesting to have seen a stamped sentiment on the inside to see the vellum masking the writing. Thank you, so much, for the inspiration.

I like it. I get frustrated with the foam tape method. They are bulky and the sequins and stuff stick to the sides of the foam tape. Thank you for showing a way to make a shaker card thinner without having to do the entire card front. I was thinking that I might try it with clear cellophane in the front and heavy or colored vellum for the back layer. That way the sparkly shaker bits would be more visible but it would block the view of the inside.

Thank you so much for presenting the vellum pocket. I have not seen it before and is exactly what I need. In the past, I have spent over 2 hours to make one shaker card. No more!! Such a cute final product! I loved that you mixed the “pre-made” owl and the stamped element. The vellum pocket is a great idea! More subtle than acetate. Your reminder that the pocket doesn’t have to exactly match the shape of the opening is also brilliant. Makes it much easier:)

Love it the only flat shaker cards I’ve seen have been the whole card front but this is genius and looks cool , and as in U.K. thickness not just weight determines cost , this is ideal . Thank you for the inspiration . I’ve only ever applied transfers by rubbing with a lolly stick which always has lines on the image which puts me off buying them . Can you do the water method with all transfers ? I don’t have any so can’t try it but I’d buy some more if I could do it this way as the transferred image looks smooth and scratch free .
