    Such a cute cards! ❤️ I love your "sophisticated" brush inking method. 🙃 It looks so easy when you do it and you get such beautiful results each time. Loved the colours on that vellum flower and background. Haven't tried anything like that but my mind got inspiration now. 😇💖🙏🙌

    I’ve been crafting as long as you at least forty years and I love the old techniques you give us some I never heard of. But the best things are your tips along the way. I’m 85 now and I have a Trimmer in my hands which I had to change my 😂style of cards more messy and artsy but that’s fine. But I always had a problem getting my card on my base straight. I saw how you sometimes put yours on with tape leaving the tails out. I worked for me so I’m so grateful of these tips. I don’t know a lot about TH-cam so it didn’t say how old this post was. I hope it gets to you. I didn’t know how else to thank you.

      Thank you Betty, you’re an inspiration !! I hope I’m still crafting at 85 !! I love that that tip worked for you, it does make it so much easier. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, hopefully crafting 🥰🥰🥰

    Lovely ideas, Marion! Flower is gorgeous! I'm pretty sure I have that die. Can't wait to make some. I know this is a vellum video, but if you die-cut your stencils out of Tyvek (from post office mailing envelopes in the U.S.) it is pretty much indestructible. have just found your video and enjoyed it. I ,particularly love your sense of humour especially in being able to laugh at your errors ,it is so frustrating watching videos and seeing someone turn out perfect results but when you go to replicate the project there are times it ends up looking nothing like the one demonstrated. At least this is what happens to me from time to time .Sometimes they work out right but at others times they look like a dog's dinner lol. Refrigerate adhesive sheets, tapes to avoid them getting gummy. Heat tends to make them gummy and stick together. I refrigerate all my dry adhesives to avoid them getting gummy and unmanageable. Been doing it for years even with floral tape, duct tape, micropore tape, packing tape.

    Hi Marion, three beautiful cards again, your flower and first card made me think of the fruit salad sweets, do you remember those? 🙂. We used the buy those together with black jacks, yum! 😋. Thank you for sharing 💕

    Very beautiful flower! Could you have used the wow reinker with the brush or would it be too much juice?

    • @marionemberson
      @marionemberson  ปีที่แล้ว

      It would have been too juicy and created lumps 🤗🤗🤗

    That vellum sounded thick when you cut it. It made a very sturdy stencil. It must be thicker than most.

    • @marionemberson
      @marionemberson  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t think so, it’s 150gsm, the ones I liked for SSS and SBC are the same weight, although you can get much thinner 🥰🥰🥰

    If you rub over the glitter with your fingers or use the shiny side of the backing paper it should look even glittery

      Hello from Casper, Wyoming USA. I've stayed up all night watching your videos back to back. I think you're a hoot and I've enjoyed every one of them. Love ❤️ Love ❤️ the vellum flower and hope I have a die that layers so I can make it. I have a sister battling breast cancer and I want to make it for her. Thanks for sharing and keep your videos coming. Haven't figured out when you're live. Please let me know.

    Lol! I love your “squidging”. Such a clever one you are. How fun! ❤️❤️❤️ I do have to say though that sometimes my embossing comes off the velum. Not sure what I do wrong. I suppose the embossing powder could be too old. Some of it is at least 15 years old!.

    • @marionemberson
      @marionemberson  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Jan. Good quality embossing powder doesn’t go off apart from maybe the metallic ones after years and years and years. Try sanding gently on the vellum to give it a ‘key’ that should help it stay. I hope that helps 🥰🥰🥰
