Nice work on the bypass alignment view. I'm looking forward to when we can start seeing the alignment in excavation. Hopefully, there will be some sign of it on the Montpelier end when I drive to Montego Bay next month.
The J P S transmission lines seems like they will need some re alignment to accommodate the passage of the long hill route before they ascend into the ramble hill community over into anchovy and beyond...
I don't know much about MoBay or its environs, but I can imagine the usefulness of this bypass road given the likelihood of traffic in a 'tourist town' with densely populated residential areas. I've got to hand it to CHEC though, they are first-rate at this kind of work. Good on you Drone View!
That long hill bypass route where it starts at the mobay bypass is where the old passenger train line used to be where it entered mobay coming all the way from kingston...so i guess they will be utilizing parts of the former train route through those hills
Hopefully they will widen the bypass with wide soft shoulders (that can be used by emergency vehicles in the short-term) and be converted to additional HOV/bus lanes going forward as traffic volumes heighten in the wake of increased urbanization/residential and industrial densifation around this highway...
It appears that they have started clearing land close to montpellier about a mile in from the b8 main road and also close to the whalers pond road which is a continuation of the ramble hill main road which starts at the bogue highway beside bogue village housing scheme...
Hey. I added the proposed Long Hill bypass to Openstreetmaps a couple years. The end needs to be adjusted (near Montpelier) but I don't have access to the amended alignment yet
It is better if you wait until the long hill road start r until you have more precise knowledge of where it will be, because doing a video on it now don't Make sense to me, good job on the mobay bypass so far.
Next time you show the proposed Long Hill bypass please just divert your drone's flight path to give us a quick overview of the nearby Pinnacle condo project....thanks...!
Lets see how CHEC gonna do with those hilly terrain for the long hill bypass. Those pylon electric poles would have to be removed tho. Hopefully the barnett river doesn't take back its course
Good question. The bypass may cross the railway line I think at least once but the Bogue hill tunnels are a next question they are at least 3 tunnels near long hill with one being in a gated community
The music, the view, the highlights. On point 👉 👌🏼
Project is coming to together very well .
best drove view channel on the bypass got a clear understanding
Ur very persistent hard work is paying off ...much respect for the persistence...ive been here since the very early days...
Thanks a lot, my persistence comes from you watching and I love flying, a good combination.

Blessings everytime.
Would like to see the Bogue road overpass next .
Thanks .
No Bogue, everything is the same as my last update of there, so hopefully on the next visit, we see some action.
Such a beautiful view of Montego Bay and it surroundings.

When you can, I would love to get some of of the information you have on it.
@droneviewja how about some footage of the portmore resilience park... A progress report.
Good idea, I have never done one before

I have that update too, but is it that you want to try seeing it from the Bogue area.
@@droneviewja yes, thanks...it would be good to see it from the perspective of the Bogue/Freeport area of the bypass...
Your videos are awesome but i can never quite place where you are droning... Could you highlight the bypass road on a map so we have better context?
It's the broken orange line,
Lets see how CHEC gonna do with those hilly terrain for the long hill bypass. Those pylon electric poles would have to be removed tho. Hopefully the barnett river doesn't take back its course
Remember they ran through Manchester hilly terrains.
@droneviewja Yh true
Does anyone know how the Long Hill bypass will affect the old railway line???
Good question. The bypass may cross the railway line I think at least once but the Bogue hill tunnels are a next question they are at least 3 tunnels near long hill with one being in a gated community
Well hope they use this opportunity to do some work on the rail as the goal is to get that running eventually
It's seems like I am about to learn a lot with the Long Hill Bypass section.
@@marcusrose5943 think that they are planning to restart the Appleton sugar factory tourist train from Mobay...
On your next update please check out the Westgate where they are adding a second bridge
I really to check it out,
