There is also the bus nr. 200 at the airport. If you planning on buying day tickets(24h,72h) for the mass transportation, while you are visiting Bp this bus is also included (unlike 100E). At the same vending machines at the airport, shown in the video, you can buy normal tickets, day tickets and you can pay with card also. Downside of 200 is only takes you the end of M3, Kőbánya-Kispest, where you have to change to M3 to get to Kálivin tér or Deák tér. If you buying normal ticket you have to stamp it/validate it on the bus and when you change to the metro you need to valide a new ticket.
I would love to take a bus when I arrive in Budapest, but I'm worried about how to move with my baggage 😢 Is there any chance we can get a cheaper taxi?
What you can do is to share the taxi with some other travelers at the Airport, find a friend in your flight or at the airport and share the Taxi with them :)
Vending machine only accept HUF in cash. The Public transport company has application, BudapestGo were you can buy e-tickets digitally. Download it in advance. Only change a small amount at the airport. Like 10€/person. Also there is a slower, but cheaper bus nr 200 at the airport, but you have to change to Metro3 to get to the city center. You need two ticket per person is about 2,5€, if you bought day ticket bus 200 and M3 are included to the day ticket.
the ticket machine and the bus only accepts forint, so it's better to change an small amount of money at the airport if you do not have an active credit card.
This is super helpful!

Hi, is it the same bus stops (on other side of the road) for the return journey back to the airport?

Do I need to validate it on the bus like other tickets?
