I WASNT ABLE TO ROTATE THE WINDOW. I WENT TO EDIT MODE ROTATED IT BUT WHEN I PRESSED 90 THE WINDOW WAS NOT STRAIGHT.PLEASE HELP.AND YOR CHANNEL IS GREAT. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK RYAN.
This is the absolute best tutorial to follow. I love how you had continuously worded out everything and explained in between. It's made me more comfortable and confident in Blender, thank you Ryan!
i searched for "blender building tutorial"...this came up and was exactly what i needed to get started...subbed and i plan to watch the rest of your low poly playlist...thanks :)
OMG Thank you!!!!! you literally name each step, so many other blender tutorials they make these tiny step changes but don't say what they are or have it listed somewhere so i be sitting here going nuts cuz I can't figure out why mine doesn't look like theirs! I can't wait to make this!
Amazing video, I wasn't able to model it myself, I had some issues not only with the background but also trying to move the square, but I love how informative this was
I love it! You work hard to make great helpful content for those learning 3D Art. I'm happy to see your hard work pay off with such fantastic channel growth. You deserve it my friend! I hope you have a fantastic week Ryan! 😃
Simple & easy for newbies to follow along to, nice! Ryan, could you make some tutorials on using geometry nodes with concrete examples as the result? I tried looking for good intro to geometry nodes tuts but there doesn't seem to be anything there at your level of clarity. I'm sure other people would be interested in this new powerful yet confusing aspect of Blender.
Thank you! Yes, I want to do some geometry node tutorials, but I'm actually still learning it myself, as its a somewhat newer feature of Blender. Once I know how to use Geometry nodes better, then I will make tutorials on it.
Is there a way to make it so that you can enter the building in a game engine and still be able to see the walls of the house? The only solution that I can think of is by using the solidify modifier so that there are faces on the inside as well. I am trying to make a store for a game that I am creating but when I walk into any house I make, the house is invisible from the inside because the faces are one sided.
Great tutorial. One friendly suggestion, for future videos, if you could possibly move the shortcut keys to the opposite side of your face so that we could see them when they pop up. Your videos are very much appreciated. Thank you!!
Hello. I have followed step by step, but when adding color, the results cannot be like those in this video. the color is darker than the color I have chosen following this video. what's wrong with my steps? and how to generate Subsurface IOR, and Subsurface Anisotropy
Ryan, good tutorial! Curious about selecting methods. When you created the door cover, at one point you selected both vertexes of an edge, where I would have thought about selecting the edge itself. Is there an advantage, or even a difference between the two methods?
Next, can you make a Bioluminescence effect in blender? But plus animation, when there are other objects that touch, for example touch the plane object, the plane will glows. Only in areas touched by other objects. After a while, it disappears again like using dynamic paint, but I don't know how to make it yet... :/ Maybe if you don't know it you can look it up on Google and you will find a beach that glows and someone stepping on the sand suddenly lights up, and then, disappeared again . :)
Okay, so, loved this video, however, it made me think you should have a separate tutorial just on doors. That was easily the trickiest and most time consuming part of this, judging by some other comments. Also, a tutorial like that could be relatively short, while not feeling too quick. I realize there are a lot of doors in the world, but stuff like door frames seem relatively universal, and something that a more focused video could break down into easier to follow steps.
hey, great tutorial but im having trouble with the materials. the whole house is painted but it only shows in rendered mode. is this supposed to happen?
Yes, that's how it is. If you are in solid mode, or wireframe mode, in the viewport, you won't be able to see the material colors. But if your in the material preview mode, or rendered mode, it will show the material.
man i have been trying for 3 hours on the window bit and its just not extruding inwards? i have no idea how to fix it, it extrudes out but not in? Thanks
Thank you for your tutorial! In the beginning I was so proud of being able to follow you without any problems but then there was the door part and me and my hand were so confused. Maybe you could speak a bit slower in parts where it gets a bit mor complex so the stupid ones like me can follow 😂

I'm not purchasing shit. Your instructions are unclear throughout! Fuck, I don't even want to show you what monstrosity I built ...

Have to say, these are some of the best tutorials I have found. So many seem to skip stages and then your left feeling abit lost😲Good work!👍👍
Glad you like them!

Very solid tutorial, this really helped me grasp a bit of what I want my workflow to look like as a beginner.

Great tutorial. I find it really hard to follow a lot of tutorials but this was just so straightforward, thorough, and succinct.
thanks for watching!
S-tier tutorial, I learned a ton and because you constantly mention the hotkeys you're using I memorize them quickly as well. Thanks a lot!
Glad it helped!

Thanks, Ryan. You have a great tutorial collection from “dipping your foot in the pool” to “deep dive.” ✊☕️🎩🎩🎩
Thanks 🙂
Thanks , I hope if it is possible to explain to us how the uses of geometry nods for making buildings ,furnitures .....etc
Yes, I would like to make some geometry node tutorials.
Amazing! Thanks for this tutorial!!!
You're very welcome!
THIS is a compelling tutorials for a blender beginner like me ! Thanks!
glad you like it!
Thanks so much😍 you just helped me build my first house in blender, amazing tutorial
thanks for watching!
9:15 I tried extruding the window inside but it stays the same, it clips through the building's wall
me too, how do you fix that ?
same here but i just decided to add loop cuts on the building so i could delete the face that was blocking the extrude.
i just realized that he didnt put the plane exactly on the wall he just put it near it so he could make it 3d looking
I believe there's a gap between the plane and the wall in the video it looks like it's stuck to the wall but I guess it's not

some of those properties in the scene arent there in the new update, the only one was motion blur. The others? i have no idea..
thank you my good teater

No its really just personal preference. : ) Sorry for the late reply on this comment.

@@RyanKingArt Okay. How about nanotechnology effect tutorial? to where? Or haven't done it yet?

thanks for the feedback
Can you please tell us how to make a building generator and in projects related to geometry nodes
thanks for the video idea. 👍
i cant edit the render engine options

I try creating window glass but it not showing as a glass
I have a tutorial on how to make realistic glass in Eevee: th-cam.com/video/JYyUMMboZFk/w-d-xo.html
wow
thanks
welcome!
Thanks!
You're welcome! 😀
I did everything good but when I go to render in shows me purple screen. Why?
I think that's because Blender lost the HDRI data. You might have moved the HDRI, or moved the Blend file on your computer. Try re-adding in the HDRI.
Ty bro
Thank you for your tutorial!

Good tutorial I guess, but slow down???
Sorry if it was too fast.
@@RyanKingArt Yeah man I'm still following it, it's just so hard to keep up lol. You're very talented though, I give you that.
