    Ryan, could you make some tutorials on using geometry nodes with concrete examples as the result? I tried looking for good intro to geometry nodes tuts but there doesn't seem to be anything there at your level of clarity. I'm sure other people would be interested in this new powerful yet confusing aspect of Blender.

    • @RyanKingArt
      @RyanKingArt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thank you! Yes, I want to do some geometry node tutorials, but I'm actually still learning it myself, as its a somewhat newer feature of Blender. Once I know how to use Geometry nodes better, then I will make tutorials on it.

    Is there a way to make it so that you can enter the building in a game engine and still be able to see the walls of the house? The only solution that I can think of is by using the solidify modifier so that there are faces on the inside as well. I am trying to make a store for a game that I am creating but when I walk into any house I make, the house is invisible from the inside because the faces are one sided.

    Ryan, good tutorial! Curious about selecting methods. When you created the door cover, at one point you selected both vertexes of an edge, where I would have thought about selecting the edge itself. Is there an advantage, or even a difference between the two methods?

    Next, can you make a Bioluminescence effect in blender? But plus animation, when there are other objects that touch, for example touch the plane object, the plane will glows. Only in areas touched by other objects. After a while, it disappears again like using dynamic paint, but I don't know how to make it yet... :/ Maybe if you don't know it you can look it up on Google and you will find a beach that glows and someone stepping on the sand suddenly lights up, and then, disappeared again . :)

    hey, great tutorial but im having trouble with the materials. the whole house is painted but it only shows in rendered mode. is this supposed to happen?

    • @RyanKingArt
      @RyanKingArt  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, that's how it is. If you are in solid mode, or wireframe mode, in the viewport, you won't be able to see the material colors. But if your in the material preview mode, or rendered mode, it will show the material.

    Okay, so, loved this video, however, it made me think you should have a separate tutorial just on doors. That was easily the trickiest and most time consuming part of this, judging by some other comments. Also, a tutorial like that could be relatively short, while not feeling too quick. I realize there are a lot of doors in the world, but stuff like door frames seem relatively universal, and something that a more focused video could break down into easier to follow steps.

    • @RyanKingArt

      I think that's because Blender lost the HDRI data. You might have moved the HDRI, or moved the Blend file on your computer. Try re-adding in the HDRI.
