You should do a collab with @Hacksmith you two would make awesome projects together one day
You should do lost 3d print casting with suspend a slurry. you could cast armor in aluminum, copper, bronze. There is a aluminum bronze that can be work hardened(hammered cold to get a high hardness)
Hey Alex, oddball question when you were looking for armor materials did you look into graphene and if you did what were your results?
Have you looked into polyethylene fishing line muscles?
I am really glad you have not worked with the HackSmith. I know you want to and because of that I want you to, but I just don’t think the HackSmith helps people understand the science behind the invention nearly as much as people like you, JLaservideo, the amazing, etc. I don’t think they are bad by any means but I just like people like you man. I guess I’m just not big on entertainment media.
I can't get over this guy. He's handsome, jacked in an healthy way, super smart on the nerdy stuff yet good at communication, has some solid art skills too and speaks a very good second language. He also looks like a nice person. Nobody told him we're all supposed to have flaws?
Lol
Very True 💯
i think he's stright
@@veecraftmedia That's really not my point. One can observe a man is good looking without implying a gender preference.
@@redford4ever thats exact ! youre right about the gender preference, also about the fact that this guy looks handsome lol
This guy seems like he would be the cool uncle, the cool dad, the cool brother, the cool friend, the cool gymbro, the cool classmate, the cool teacher... this guy is just cool
i got the same vibe that accent is nice🤣
Imagend if your his son or his bro
Russian Iron Man is back. Can't wait for him to finish the suit!!
Me too
He is the hero we didn't know we needed
Always saw him as a Russian Tony Stark and X-men’s Sabertooth hybrid.
@jackoftrades80home YES looks like victor, is iron man
Iгои мап
Don't forget that the Iron Man suit in the movies and comics are much larger than the person inside of it. You should take full advantage of that so that you get all the things in it that you're wanting to. There's a good 2cm around all sides of the helmet. And much larger around the body armor. As well as the arms and legs.
I could imagine that by the time it's done, the dimensions might be closes to the armor from Halo than Iron-man for the sake of movement and included tech.
@@TheRealAlpha2 Heh agreed.
@@rafiqkatanaWhy is this requirement needed?
@@spike1670 yeah would feel like wearing pants bigger than your size
Even more space if someone ever decides to make one based around Ultimate Iron Man, I love that bulky design.
Please continue the project dude
I'm literally dying to see it complete
it is already in the hands of the government, unfortunately.

Hi, I'm from Cuba. I usually wouldn't do this, but this time I just need to do it. Next year I start studying automatic engineering in an university in my country, I was very thrilled and now even more. When someone asked me why I wanted to study that I would answer "It will get me a good job with a nice pay" or something like that and maybe really deep down in my there was an idea of making something amazing, but it didn't feel like an actual motivation. That changed, man I saw your videos and it just... I can't find words to describe it, right now you are on a god-like level for me, from now on you'll be idol. You will always be the real Iron Man for me and I hope you don't mind me to at least try to make War Machine in the years to come. If you read this thank you, thank you so much for bieng you and doing what you do.
Great hearing stories like this. All the best lad!
This has got to be youtube's most anticipated project ever..
Can't wait
Alex man I'm so glad you're sticking with this, you deserve soo much more attention! Its criminal you're not one of the biggest channels on youtube. You're an inspiration to us all.
This is awesome. Keep up the great work Alex.
Thank you for listing out all the separate speeds!
Wow! Your are still pursuing the iron man suit!! Highly motivating🔥 I had seen your first iron man video few years back
Mad lad is so close. Congrats on the new printer capabilities!
That is a beast of a 3D-Printing setup you got there!!! Awesome video, I cannot wait to see how the future unravels for the Iron Man project. Who knows? Maybe through future iterations, you will develop a bullet resistant, combat-ready version! A military contract would secure you financially as well
a military contract would destroy the world
Tony Stark don't give this tech to the government
@@astrolabtechnologies imagine everyone running around with athem javelin suits.. I would tend to feel that would put everyone at a stalemate where nobody is more powerful than another
@@alfredosoup That's not what he's saying. There's a reason such advanced technology that leapfrogs modern physics by 50-100 years isn't disclosed to the rest of the world.
Lest you forget that there are increasingly unhinged authoritarian regimes controlling and ruling certain nations with an iron fist. And one of those authoritarian regimes happens to be a nuclear superpower which would be Russia.
If such technology was released it would start World War 3. And that could put the general public the world over in grave danger.
Think about it for a moment. Why else would the weapons capabilities of the United States and other countries be such a sensitive secret that is so fiercely guarded?
Because they don't want this stuff getting out. It would create a lot of chaos everywhere and all at once and there would be no realistic way to stop it and the death and destruction of all living things on earth will be the deadly result that ensues.
It doesn't take many Nukes to kill the world. Which is why everyone is on so much edge from Mr. Putin's threats of Nuclear annihilation.
@@nemesisobsidian again. If everyone jas a suit of inpenetrable armor, nobody could get hurt
Love your work man, looking forward to the next version of the armour after you've completed the rapid prototyping adjustments to allow for movement etc
I love all of your content Iron Man, can’t wait to see this video!
You have inspired me through years, i follow you from the start. I hope I could meet you one day. You do great work.
so good that you are back !!😀😀😌
Last year I was close to jump to the 3d print world getting a flsun v400 but since it was my first 3d printer and it was rated like easy for beginners I was kinda motivated.
But after seeing a lot of negative comments and for the price (around 980$ that time) I just didn't got it.
Thank you for your video, I hope to see more with the flsun v400 ! Maybe I'll get one for christmas this year who knows :D
Love your brain, my dude. You inspire me to learn and perform at my max level. Please, keep it up
Hey Alex! Loving the progress. I wanted to point out to you that recently I read of an electrolyzer tip that some scientists discovered: aluminum plates should be much more efficient than the normal material.
Hopefully he doesn’t go missing, i’m looking forward to see the full suit it’s crazy to see what you can build I love your work
I thoroughly enjoyed this video on the FL Sun. thank you ALex Lab
Good to see you still are doing your pushups.
This is insane. Thanks for all of the tutorials man. Its helping me alot.
I’ve waited for this for so long!
you have no idea how much i love your videos
at this point this mans ironman project is gonna last longer than the mcu itself (love you vids btw)
New sub. Not sure why I didn't find this channel sooner. Keep going.
Glad that you made the V400 work, my self, after dealing with a few 3D printers from different brands, I came across the V400 issues and they steered me away from it, I decided to give Bambu Lab a try and I have to say that I the P1P is just amazing, I understand that the build volume is not the same, but the just the speed and quality are great.
Dude deserves every cent he makes and more ❤️
If only Alex was a billionaire... But then again, if he was a billionaire, he wouldn't be into building iron man suit in his garage.
Your videos are so positive and inspiring. Thanks for amazing videos!
I’ve never gone looking for a TH-cam channel after seeing a video on another platform, but the moment I saw this on instagram I just had to see more
Love your work keep it up!
I cant wait to see this suit when it's finished
Bravo tu est clair concis, efficace. Magnifique projet. Je te souhaite le meilleur. Force , courage et honneur.
I'm glad your back and I hope you can complete your goal.
Side note, you might want to invest in an sla/resin printer for costom complex hollow parts for plumbing as a precaution
You're a brilliant human being!!
You need to come back this is amazing
Keep up the good work Alex 👍
Bruh, this guy is actually doing it right! He's not taking any shortcuts like other people! This is gonna be better that a real Ironman suit!
i hope this man lives a long happy life
He said suspiciously
yeah to all of that, with two exceptions. I had no prior experience with printing at all but I just HAD TO have a v400 haha. Then I also had to follow the instructions much better than I normally do so I did and my machine is a little indestructible monster ... it just moves scary fast! And it just works. One thing which surprised me is that it's actually pretty silent for what it does I think? I'm now learning Fusion 360 the personal version for free and I like. I have been 3D modeling before so it's kind of same same but different, with more parameters in CAD or course. But I just love that machine already!
This man is a god damn genius. I love it.
You’re good and honest guy thank you
Glorious!
Alex labs is always making banger vid he is so amazing
Hey Alex it's bin 10 months did you forget with great power comes great responsibility come back and complete the suit 🫡
Awesome
CONGRATS ON 1 MILLION
Wheee are you ALEX!!?
Look community page in this channel, still alive I guess 😂
IM EXCITED I WAIT TO SEE WHATS NEXT GOT MY IDEAS FLOWING
I’m here because of daily dose of Internet, I really want to see the suit now
Me too!
He's back 🔥
would be great to see a bullet proof test, with a kevlar, carbon fibre and metal plated combination test, I know it probably wouldn't stop a bullet, but to see how much (or should say if any) stopping power it would have, if nothing else it for sure would be entertaining :)
I would just build it out of plate armor like medieval armor if its going to have actuation for load support. That will be difficult and expensive though.
you would be surprised how easy it is to stop bullets. its all about how many layers you add. people make .5 inch thick plates with just fiberglass fabric and resin.
@@roosterqmoney one more reason to see it done :)
This guy is multi talented!
you are an inspiration for nerds like us
Remember, no matter how much time has passed. He'll be back.
Honestly I would have expected a printer of that size and claims to be closer to $1000 or well above. Glad the technicaly issues smoothed out, making it a much better machine for your purposes. I hadn't really considered the benefits of the composite materials beyond the armor, but in recent months I'd also been watching a guy building an "Akira" bike with constant frame welding and prototyping external body parts from Fiberglass and now I can imagine where those parts could be a lot stronger in the final assembly now with the methods you've shown.
This manufacturing technique is underrated.
Been waiting for the next video
Good to see you working again man. Nice Beard also
I would recommend the Bambu Lab P1P, it prints VERY fast and at extremely good quality
i allways wait for your video, keep make something great bro 👍👍
yup! this man got some serious stuff going on
Amazing Craftsmanship 👍🏻👍🏽👍
i become your fan after watching your videos your knowledge and creativity is superb i want to be like u
12:50 Wow! I don't even dream of a surface like that at 60mm/s on my Sidewinder x1, that's crazy
Wow! We need to support this guy with the whole world! The world needs a real iron suit🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
9:02 Thanks for pointing that out. I'm just venturing into 3D printing (2 months in) and there is a ridiculous amount of information to process and digest. A builder can get caught up in the mechanical aspects of why a print is not optimal and overlook other possibilities quite easily. Pointing out software/slicer issues is extremely valuable especially when all mechanical aspects have been addressed. I'm not curious to execute an A/B testing with slicers to achieve the best quality available for my printer (Ender3 V3 KE).
The bestest. Long time no see... After the armor construction, bullet proof?
The bulk of the print time is the actual laying down of plastics, significantly reducing accelerations and move speeds won't increase print times much but will make a huge difference in quality(yes I do have a V400 and my 0.24 layers are smooth to the point of making the print look like 0.1 layers(better than what is shown at the 12:50 mark))....
I also stuck with the Cura 5 that came with the default profile installed, tried a newer Cura and quickly noped out of that, no point in fixing something that isn't broken just for the sake of something being newer.
Did some full bed single layer tests to tweak the first layer and found that 0.1 gave the best result as far as consistent first layer was concerned as my bed is NOT entirely flat, later increased mesh points from the default 7x7 to 9x9 and that helped a lot but still stuck with the 0.1 first layer for all my profiles(which have zero/near-zero nozzle scraping btw) as there was no point in redoing the first layer tuning just to get a thicker first layer(it's 0.1 so it also introduces less dimensional errors in Z due to an uneven bed than thicker layers would(I only do functional prints)).
That said I'm happy with the V400 as my 4th printer(first I got was so long ago it had an original reprap board in it...) to the point of being unlikely to ever get another one short of a large IDEX or a mini voron......
Very very impressive 👏
Well done
You are inspiring!
Bro is living millions of dream❤❤
Idk why but your every video is interesting
Cartesian, Cartesian kinematics. You are a legit genius tho and it would be an honor to work with you on a project someday. Understanding statics and stress analysis/ CFD is going to be the next big hurdle to make this sort of thing a reality.
I have the SR model.
This version makes mine seem like a prototype.
I had to rebuild the hot end with aftermarket parts because it just kept jamming up.
And one of the first prints had to be a holder for the remote. Although it came with a magnetic one, the metal disc didn't stay adhered and the remote kept falling.
It works fine now, I'd like it to be able to go a little hotter, but out of the box it needed work.
The v400 is so fun to watch and really is a solid platform, I ended up switching to bambu though, its just more straight forward with less tinkering
Awesome!
You are a legend my friend 🔥
you the BEST 👍😁
Great video 😊
Hello ALEX if you are looking for a very fast 3D printer I'd suggest you look into resin 3D printers if you haven't already, they print a whole layer at one time, and can cut printing time in half, the issue is that it does require much more post processing. But is much better when it comes to details
I was thinking about bitting his arms dudes JACKED
You're legendary brother 👍🏻🖤🏴☠️
Good luck bro 👍
Awesome all your vids are COOL!. So when are you working on your Flight systems. About time but still extremely good tech work.
I think Alex should be fine, he commented on a video yesterday about his suit
I found out about you a few seconds ago and i have to say i love you
Thank you
I also 3d print and ride an electric unicycle you are my favourite TH-camr now
PLS MAKE IT FLY!! I CANT WAIT TO SEE IT COMPLETE
men I really want to be able to make such great projects like you!
the best slicer I have used for this printer is Orca slicer, you can control the printer entirely in that software, also the VWEEP VWOOOP of the movement system is so fun
Personally, I always emjoyed those early videos on the chemical and mechanical elements of the iron man armor creation, but this stuff is still interesting, even if I'm a little overexposed to 3d printing stuff
Bro finally something that looks close to the real deal.. 😁
