What a fantastic tutorial. Straight to the point. Quickly going from one step to the next without useless chatter. I love that you understand that there is in fact a pause button but there is no "skip useless dialogue about nothing" button.

Thank you so much for this tutorial. Probably my favorite; I don't like it when work looks like a 3-click filter. The results from this tutorial legitimately look like an oil painting. Outstanding sir.
I'm one of those photography snobs that thinks if you use photoshop you've entered graphic design art not photographic art. This is the first use of it, that applaud completely for two reasons. It looks awesome and MORE IMPORTANTLY. You still have to start with an amazing image! The photography part of it critical to get the end result and that, I like a lot. Great tutorial.
Amazing. I've been able to make some impressive designs thanks to this tutorial. And once you learn the steps, it's not such an overwhelming process. Much appreciated!
Wow... There's a lot of Photoshop content on TH-cam and only so many hours of viewing time available, so I don't subscribe to many channels after just one video, you I sure did here. Fantastic work, clearly taught, without wasting my time. Thank you very much. :)
Exactly what I was looking for thank you! Although I was having a hard time understanding everything you were saying. " Hold the alt key while clicking the options create a copy at the top of the layer stack." On a mac the alt key IS the option key....
Lol, I couldn't figure out how to do this a few years back, so I've been spending the past few years just straight up painting people to get this effect. Haha
Chris, this is the 1st video of yours i have seen and can i say i love how nothern you are mate! keep up the good work ive subbed even if the video was done in 2017
Short, simple, to the point and very clear. I came to learn how to do one effect and one effect only and I was shown in the time it took me to eat my sandwich. You have just earned yourself a subscriber.
I love your tutorials and honestly don't mind how fast you move. It allows me to watch it through to get a visual on everything that is going to happen. Then when I run through the tutorial again while actively creating I am able to digest the how and why so much more. Thank you for all your videos. I would only make one suggestion. Perhaps, you could put up the text of the shortcuts for both Windows and Mac users. That would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for everything!
2024, and this is still the greatest leason about "airbrushed film poster style" in the whole internet. Thank you so much!

Holy crap, so much information in little time. I got more from this video in 5 minutes than watching hours of other videos! Thanks so much!!!!!
That's what I love about Spoon, he does not fritter about with unnecessary explanation.

This tutorial should get 1M viewers.
