Re: Lincoln - I think the references are because Lincoln was killed by an actor. Sazz (or perhaps whoever the cold case is) was maybe killed by an actor.
I enjoy soo much your detailed breakdown of each episode, and especially that you’re not just mentioning references (Charles and Camilla, Sweeney Todd etc) and movie titles but actually digging into them and trying to figure out connections. And you’re probably the only one who does that which is really surprising because it feels like nothing in this show is there for no reason.
My sus theory 0. Charles said HE was going to pick up wine himself but why did Saz end up the one getting it. 1. The cold case is Dudenoff got killed by the westies and dissolved all in the always stirring soup. Helga didn't agree to conspire so she fleed. 2. She knows Sazz from the stuntman bar. Gave her the ham radio somehow. She helped Sazz fake death for retirement. Sazz helped her flee. 3. Howard is now converted to be a rat. Maybe? 4. The production team has done some evil to compete with the rivalry studio. 5. What did Bakula has to do at the movie premiere? Just to say Sazz never showed up? 6. Who is the agent Zach keep texting to?
Cool catch on the trampoline book on Sazz’s desk! 🕵🏻♀️ Also, regarding the opening date of the bar: I didn’t notice the sign out front said 1977, but if I remember correctly, when the trio went from looking at Instagram to researching Concussions, Oliver read that it was first opened to the public in 1964. That’s probably just a continuity error - or lack of communication between departments - but if we’re highlighting dates, which do you think is the most important? (Or have I totally misremembered the whole 1964 thing?) And oooo…Let’s not forget that quick glimpse in one of the previews/trailers for the season that showed a woman in bell bottoms positioned to take a shot from the window. That fashion actually fits more with the ‘70s than the ‘60s, I think. 😃
@shiraparaguas9273 In the killing scene Charles kitchen looks different then Charles kitchen when shown at other times. Why?? Everything is too confusing. I do believe the Westies killed someone and they are covering it up. Yes, I believe that's the cold case for next season.
Ok im rewatching the season from the beginning and: Dudenoff could mean "dude in f" as in they don't know whose apartment it is but it's a dude in apt f
They just released the Episode Title & Description for Episode 6--that will air in TWO weeks. The title is "Blow Up" which is a very famous 1966 film, by the genius Italian film director, Michelangelo Antonioni. The film plot is a photographer develops routine photos he took outdoors--and upon blowing-up one of the photos believes there is a dead body in the photo. I've read some old film reviews of "Blow Up" and critics compared it to Hitchcock's "Rear Window"--which is a constant reference-point for this season of OMITB. The OMITB episode summary for Episode 6 is that the Brother Sisters are making a documentary. This seems like a major reveal for episodes 5 & 6. WHY are the Brothers Sisters doing a documentary? Will episode 5 be the end of The Trio movie that Bev Melon is producing? Without any Spoilers, does naming the 6th episode "Blow Up" mean that those of us who believe Sazz is NOT dead, are correct? And we're about to find out that there is NOT a "body" in the ashes in the incinerator--just like the body in "Blow Up" is missing? I'm getting AHEAD of the episodes, so on Tuesday everything I'm writing now may be proven wrong--but, it's kinda Fun. LOL.
I'm fairly convinced Loretta is involved! V weird she was friends with Sazz on Insta given that they weren't introduced on the show... and then those pigtails in the scrubbed out pic!! Maybe Dickie's father (it was implied in an episode in season 2 that he was a director from NY) is the link?? Also wondering if the Sazz link to the west tower is Ana being a stunt person Sazz was helping (like her school that she wanted to set up) cos she somehow knew Charles had brittle bones?? Working theories! 😂 Anyway, love your analyses the best!
This and Loretta has a side gig as professional gift wrapper and they found a tinsel - maybe it is actually a gift ribbon? And Loretta left a party earlier to catch a flight. I really love her and think she's good and sweet but it's all a bit suspicious. On the other hand, why would she want to kill Sazz or Charles...
I agree with your theories, especially about the "cold case," and the significance of doubles. Also, there are two clues regarding the apartments in the West Tower & Dudenoff. First off, the "financials" are very "suspect." Dudenoff is renting the apartments for only $200/month each? I used to live in NYC, and know many people who still live there--and charging his sub-renters only $200/month is ridiculously LOW. Yes, rent Control regulations probably sets Dudenoff's rent to the landlord/owner at $500-$700 per apartment. But, based on the neighborhood, apartment sizes, etc., the typical rent in NYC would be between $2k-5k. So, WHY is he charging so little? My guess is because he wants his renters to be loyal-to-him; and NOT ask questions about anything. Which leads me to my second clue: the Cold Case. Oliver has mentioned that in the past a brothel operation was being run out of the West Tower. Such a business would have required multiple apartments. Was Dudenoff running the brothel business--and was Dudenoff murdered by (or murdered) someone? And, is there something that Charles (unwittingly) knows that could reveal the murder and killer--and that's why Charles was targeted? And, finally, is the Bev Melon movie--that requires the "life rights" of the Trio (including Charles)--the "Instigating Act" that put the attempted murder of Charles in motion?
Becca, is there such a thing as a Stuntman Bar? Why all the references to pigs/pork/pet pig/hats? How come Charles knows so much about Portuguese flags? All the clues about "no body" are very curious. Did you catch all the Hitchcock movie references?
Charles has some trauma issues. He seems to go into these white rooms or fantasy dreams when he is under stress. His father has a lot to do with this and I expect his father treated him poorly. Sazz could be his sister as Charles's father slept around a lot. Charles seems to forget many things and maybe this season is about Charles confronting his past and dealing with his trauma.
Becca, why don't you offer a quick live session to discuss the questions and theories in the comments? I think it would bring a ton of subscribers when the audience feels being heard. There are other omitb reviews where all the comments are discussed IN the video. People like that.
Now I'm wondering if Ben's stunt double actually died in the elevator. Actual Ben could be pretending to be the stunt guy. I know Ben hated Charles but why would Ben risk killing someone over it. Ben had a career and was making good money. This Glen could actually be the real stunt double
Oh totally forgot to post it! thanks for reminding me. These are the two posts I’ve found really interesting recently www.reddit.com/r/OnlyMurdersHulu/s/Cklc0Xy4K3 www.reddit.com/r/OnlyMurdersHulu/s/CRYGkwb8tW I’ve edited the video description to include them ❤️
Who do YOU think the murderer is? Comment your theories down below!

agreed! beccas findings are unique. the others just repeat the entire cast and than ask to comment below. Becca is the best Sherlock & Watson in one,
My sus theory

I was thinking: Oh Hell and Helga(hell gal?) work as the opposite to Paradise.

this content is going str8 to my cerebral cortex in the best way possible
I think there are 2 murdere cases this season. The murder of Sazz and the cold case Sazz was investigating. I think Dudenhoff is the cold case.

Awesome Breakdown
You are the only person to mention the Cobro 3 poster

The instagram could be fake and the woman in the photo is too tall to be Loretta, also Dickie’s father is probably dead by now lol
@@Besame0it wasn’t tinsel the Christmas guy explained it isn’t
They would never do anything to jeopardize Oliver and Loretta’s relationship either

Rats were in last season as well. Donna gave rat poisoning to Ben for sure but that's not what killed him.

Reference to Pigs possibly a red herring.

The whole season is about the movies. I think there is a movie within a movie this season. Not sure whodunit though.
