Great content mate, 27:50 regarding the loading and unloading restrictions, any wardens saying that shopping doesn't count are incorrectly applying the regulations. "delivery and collection of goods as part of a business activity. " is permitted and that includes ANY items. However they do state "that, unless in exceptional circumstances, loading and unloading does not include the picking up or dropping off of shopping. " this is aimed purely at personal shopping NOT commercial/business activities which you are carrying out. If you get a ticket, just screenshot the order and time and send it as proof, they will have to cancel the ticket ( so long as you are parked in a permitted bay, or yellow lines).
I work for Uber and totally agree with you about ASDA. Worst supermarket for pickup. I waited for 25 minutes at ASDA Wrexham yesterday morning and nobody even came out. Luckily, Uber is easy to cancel. I saw a Justeat guy there once, who had been waiting for an hour and a half. Will be rejecting all ASDA in future. I had alcohol order from the night before and the customer was to hungover to Answer the door. I still got paid for a non delivery. I doubt there supposed take the milk back but would been a serious waste. Good see some common sense.

I just saw your 9 to 5 delivery for the week and I don’t know how I ended up on this. I must’ve clicked something by accident but 9-to-5 you’re cutting off breakfast and dinner so that would be OK for somebody like me who has terrible vision in the dark especially. But breakfast is a must. Anything between meals is a crapshoot. Maybe some shop n delivers. If you get an order with a decent tip, at least this country. (Usa) but dinner is where most of the money is. Like I don’t stress if I sleep late during the summer because I can still make some decent money for the day. Of course, it’s hot as Hades but that’s a whole Nother story.
Between mealtimes it's the groceries/convenience stores that save the day, at least here in the UK there are a lot of grocery places on the food delivery apps.
Yes your right asda is really bad , you should see asda in small heath Birmingham they take all most one hour to get your delivery outside and with missing items the worse ever! 😡
By looking at the start of the day you might as well start after 9 or 10am plus most of other takeaways open after 11 or 12 that aren't McDonald's or something like that.

Thanks mate! I use the Zego monthly plan as I’m pretty much full timing this work at the moment so it works out much cheaper than hourly! Have been with Inshur too but Zego offered me the same cover for a few quid less so went with them. Both their monthly plans include social cover too so it’s the full works. Would recommend either of those providers, have heard better things about claiming through Zego though (Inshur’s reviews on Google mention accident claims being delayed and a pain in the ass).

Definitely not always, very rarely. This morning shift was especially bad. And depreciation isn’t really a factor for me in a cheap car over several years. I average about £13-14p/h across all the driving work I do and the self-employed and flexible nature of the work keeps me doing it 😊

No - I have no idea what tax I’m paying until I’ve done all my finances and filed my annual return. Plus, when comparing wages, you do so before tax deductions. Everyone’s tax obligations are completely unique so it’s irrelevant to include them in these videos.

Every time I fill up I write down how many miles I got on that tank, and how much it cost me to fill it back up. After a few fills, total it all up and divide £s spent by miles driven 👍🏻 the more tanks you keep track of the more accurate it will be.
Really depends on so many things like if I do Flex that day, how many hours I stay out etc. but an average 8-hour day maybe 70-100 miles depending on if I do Flex.
Whilst the one in this video has improved lately, they're still the worst supermarket to pick up from. Sainsbury's remains the GOAT for me, they never fail to have things ready and they leave the orders by customer service for us to just walk in and take, we don't need to wait for staff.

Cheers mate! Unfortunately the best advice I can give is to work when the traffic wardens have gone home 🤣 but if that’s not possible, try and find a loading bay and leave a spare delivery bag on your seat so hopefully they recognise you’re a delivery driver if they stop and check. Some will give you extra time if they know you’re a delivery driver. If you can’t use a bay, you gotta risk it on double yellows, ideally somewhere the traffic wardens go the least, but just try and minimise your risk the best you can. Or just decline these orders. Parking during the day is the biggest reason I do Amazon Flex Morrisons blocks in the day time, because picking up food in town during the day is so anxiety inducing because of the parking situation.
I swear DELIVEROO have about 5 people working in support. Always speaking to the same people in rotation 😂😂😂

Just curious, when you accept a order and it says how much it pays, is that after tax or is that before tax and you need to set aside 20%?
