Epic climb 🙌🙌Mt Blanc world famous and hard (some would say under estimated how hard this climb is 🏔️) Congratulations 🎉 and thank you for Bringing us along Liam Fabulous film 👍 Regards Simon 🤠👍🏔️
good videos bro yr a relaxing person to follow. if u put extra into perfecting audio and making possibly longer videos i reckon u could pick some momentum up. god luck brother!
I found the path fairly easy to navigate. There were markings and fixed lines up to the hut. From the hut the paths is defined by everyone foot tracks. July is peak season so there will be lots of people attempting too so you won’t be alone.
Brilliant video - I'm currently trying to plan an unguided Mont Blanc attempt with a friend of mine. Any chance I'd be able to drop you an email with some questions about route planning/risk assessing? More than confident in our abilities but have a few questions about certain sections of the route. Tia.
Cheers mate. It was rather spontaneous. I had actually given up on climbing Mont Blanc during the summer when the Mayor closed the route due to extreme rockfall. Though when reopened in late August I reconsidered and just went for it. The infrastructure in Chamonix is great and makes planning/climbing really easy.
Love it! I am planning on doing Monte Bianco as well. How is your previous experience? I am an avid hiker with decades of experience in sub 3000metres. So this would be a new goal. How would you rate it from hiking perspective? Well done by the way!
Thank you! I’ve climbed numerous peaks above 6000m that vary with difficulty and terrain that has given me the skill and confidence to complete Mont Blanc solo. Initially when I first decided to get into mountaineering I spent the money on 1 on 1 guides and/or course. I was surprised the about the weather on this climb and conditions that even I considered turning back. It is certainly something to strive for, though unless you have some previous experiences with glaciers terrain, self arrest etc, confidence with exposure and extreme conditions then I would highly recommend the use of a guide for this climb. There were multiple on route, helping beginners ascend their first climb too.
@@ScalingSummits thanks. My experience is fairly high with regards to adverse weather in the artics, freak storms, avalanche dangers etc. I often do 35km+ a day with 2000m climbing. But glaciers? Is a novelty, i am thinking about doing Breithorn with a guide and learning the basics of glacier hiking and then trying to conquer Mont Blanc. Maybe even try another 4000+ with a guide, before i do Mont Blanc.
