- Been a while, I know. Today, I have two Yale Banjo locks, from use in the rail yards, and a beautiful Yale dual custody lock from OSU (Ohio State University). Dual custody means two keyways, and two different owners can open the lock, without having the same key. And, we'll end by doing a quick pick on the Yale dual custody lock.
Oh wow you got some nice finds for your collection, interesting to see that you overcome the missing keys, brilliant 👍
Also must mention well done on the pick 👍
Thank you, Tony!
That brass Yale is cool. Hey I recently found a bunch of Keline railroad locks they are all the same type. If I knew how to send you one I would.
All nice locks, specially the brass Yale, Great info.
Have a great day, great picking too
Thank you, Gkeyman!
Very nice indeed!! Great for the collection! Peter's is the only other one ive seen! Nice picking!
Thank you! Yes they seem to be hard to find. And not much info on when they were made, or what they look like inside.
@@dougpickslocks I think that's what Peter was saying as well... why tho bottom part if it was all hollow lol
I think the shape might be meant to fit into some narrower enclosures and make it easy to grip when putting in the key. Never caught on.
@@dougpickslocks That's the only thing I could think of...
