Thank you, brother, for translating the video into Arabic, because I am an Arab girl. I enjoyed the clip. I am a fan of Caprice 84. Keep your car because it's cool. I have subscribed to your channel. Keep going. ❤️😍

I am waiting on a few pieces for suspension . I am with you, we will be doing rear disc brakes as soon as possible. Thank you for watching and subscribing!
I was getting moisture/fog on the windshield and a little bit leaking onto the passenger floor area. No odd smell, but I caught it pretty quick. I appreciate you watching and commenting!
This one was only leaking coolant. If you have one only blowing hot air, there is a temperature blend door in the air box that might be jammed or disconnected. It had to come out with the heater core. I made sure to grease it and the cable.
I did not after the heater core, but it did air lock after fixing a leak at the lower radiator hose. I let it cool down, stuffed a tall funnel in the radiator fill, and filled the coolant until it was about halfway up the funnel. After a few minutes, that caused it burp the air out of the system.
@@formulized94 a lot of people mainly down south put those crappy ls motors in there caprices and impalas it gets me mad when they put those motors in those cars
Caprice forever !
I will stand on that with you! I cannot wait to drive this car again! Thank you for watching and commenting!

Great video Love the car. That is all factory seam sealer on the heater box. My 1979 Caprice has it as well and it is in many other places on the car.
I appreciate you watching and commenting!
I have found that stuff on a few other places, too. It is some tough stuff.
Love the video, definitely would love to see the suspension work and maybe rear disc conversion.

What were the symptoms of the defective heater core? My 1985 buick Lasabre has a funky smell when I turn on the defrost only.

Heck yeah!. Thank you, I appreciate it!
First! Good veedeeoh pal
Aye! Thank ya, friend
What thickness of weatherstripping did you use
I used one inch, but cut it to about half inch.
It's an easy job but damn you got it easy, I'm from Canada and all and I mean all the 1/4 inch screw heads were rotted. Had a hell of a time
a bad heater core will cause it to blow hot air ?
This one was only leaking coolant. If you have one only blowing hot air, there is a temperature blend door in the air box that might be jammed or disconnected. It had to come out with the heater core. I made sure to grease it and the cable.
Did it get air locked after new core was installed ?
I did not after the heater core, but it did air lock after fixing a leak at the lower radiator hose. I let it cool down, stuffed a tall funnel in the radiator fill, and filled the coolant until it was about halfway up the funnel. After a few minutes, that caused it burp the air out of the system.
Perfect 😊
That's clean man. Any thoughts of selling it
I have tossed the idea around a bit. It has been driven a handful of times since this video, every time I drive it I change my mind on selling it.
