    Apologies to everyone who watched this video earlier and who have been waiting for my new video. I uploaded this video yesterday and today but I had to pull both of them due to glitches found in the videos. I’m terribly sorry for the inconveniences especially for those who hit the Like button and posted comments already. I have fixed the glitch and everything should be OK now. If you still find any error or glitch, please let me know. Thank you very much. 🙏🙇‍♂️🙏

    I am crying as I type this. I lost my fiancée in 1995, because she went away to America to study. I walked all along the path of this video for years, thinking about her. I almost committed suicide even, wanting the pain to go away. After nearly 20 years, she finally came back, saying she could fall in love with nobody else but me, and we FINALLY married last year. I never want to lose her again. Thank you for uploading this.

    • @VSV_Japan
      @VSV_Japan  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow! You waited for 20 years?! Amazing!!! I'm happy and relieved that you concluded your comment with the happy ending. Congratulations! I wish you the best and spend your life not with sorrow this time but with a lot of joy and love! My video may have brought back your sad memories but I hope you watched it with smile with your wife now.

    • @Maplecook
      @Maplecook 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@VSV_Japan Indeed, yes, I waited that long. I met her just a little bit after the Great Kobe Earthquake. It was literally an earth-shattering year for us, and the city.
      There is a saying in English, "Time heals all wounds." I disagree with that so-called, "proverb," with all my heart. There are some wounds that can never heal, no matter how much time may pass. The only cure for me, was her return...which I honestly thought would never happen. Even today, I look at my life, wondering how it all was possible. She was -- and still is -- my, "soul mate," ... and she says the same. Nobody else has ever made me happy like she does. Not even close.

    More memories. I really like your walking tour videos the best because you seem to go to more places, including walking right past where I lived, that I have been to and covering much of the same ground as I did. My first week in Japan, and my wife and I went to visit her parents in Osaka, and every day we would go to another nearby city. We went to Kobe on the 10th anniversary of the earthquake, and stayed overnight in the Oriental Hotel on the waterfront, which you see at around 13:06 I also still have a photo of my wife in front of Kobe Tower Again, thanks for ht e memories

    Great video. You've taken the details with precision. Going under the wind chimes in shopping center was very sweet. Maybe it was better to shoot the video on that weather. I am waiting for the second part. ✌️

    • @VSV_Japan
      @VSV_Japan  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you very much for watching. Wind chimes were certainly comfortable. But when I did the test walk prior to this shooting, the wind was a little stronger and the chimes sounded even louder than this. And I thought "Since I'm recording in binaural audio, this must be good through earphones!" so I decided to walk under them. But the strong wind stopped as soon as the actual shooting started... 😢

    • @luz1959
      @luz1959 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@VSV_Japan Well, it was great, anyway. We cannot control nature when we are shooting a video. I like how you shoot the details around you as, for example, with Kobe Port Tower. Also, your take of the sign "BE KOBE". I really was expecting you to do what you did: take it from the side and then the close shot. Nice. As an amateur photographer, I am your fan. Keep going. You do great. 👍

      Kobe is a port city just like Yokohama. They have a lot in common. They both were influenced heavily by western cultures and that may be a reason that you felt Kobe doesn't look like Japan. Nowadays many people visit Kobe and Yokohama to enjoy such westernized atmosphere. 😄
