Some useful tips. I've been way too lazy stuck in the house so far when I should really be a bit more productive setting stuff up for when this is all over with. With years of photos/video on my hard drives I might have a look at some of those sites.
Same! I have at least 2 years of travel photography that I need to edit but haven't gotten around to it yet!
@@rutaemilija8653 I'm trying out Blackbox just now to hopefully make something from a few years of travel footage.
It's limited to 10 clips a day just now (as I guess everyone has the time to upload stuff now). So that's a least a little productive task to do each day which is easy enough to do.

I get it, people need money, but telling a photographer that he can replace a web designer or a graphic designer is bad advice. You wouldn't tell a web designer that he can replace a photographer or filmmaker, I think it's not fair.
Pienso igual pero bueno, es dificil la situación en muchos países (no en Canadá especificamente) y es entendible intentar acaparar tantos ámbitos como sean posibles. A mí en cuarentena se me hace muy muy complicado conseguir clientes que se sostengan, la mayoría en meses tienen problemas económicos y tienen que recortar de donde pueden asi que a veces para mantenerme tengo que hacer lo que un equipo creativo hace

Great ideas. Going through quarantine with two kids under 6 is rouuuuugh. They never stop. One is supposed to be going into grade one in September but nothing yet. I’m pulling my hair out going bat crap crazy . The. My A7Siii will show up and I’ll be back in business. Sold the A73 so just waiting now
Hi Lizzie and Chris, at 3:50 you talk about stock websites. How much Blackbox charge for commission to sell your footage/images? Are they the best most worth value website to sell your material? Thanks in advance.
Hey, blackbox charges 15% of NET sales on top of the agency fee. But for this price, they take care of the work to distribute to multiple stock agencies, they are not an agency themselves. If you submit to the agencies directly you won't have to pay that 15% but it will take a lot more time to upload clips to each platform and you'll have to format the metadata for each one. This all takes a lot of time, so at least for us, this 15% is worth the potential to reach a lot more people (and more sales).

I was like trying to work as a Graphic designer on Fiverr , but this is not as easy as it sounds like, even if you have talent,skills etc , it’s not easy to have clients !! If you have some actual Tips or advices , I would like to hear from you 😊..

I think the algorithm sucks or I am just somehow new to the platform so it distinguishes between the old users and the new ones ! Maybe : I really don’t know!!

It takes a long time to build up work on fiverr and it pays pretty bad typically. I'd recommend creating a small portfolio and doing direct outreach to marketing and communications roles at smaller businesses. As you work with more people, word of mouth will start to help you grow faster. But this whole process won't happen in a week, it can take a long time to build a stable income, but it's worth it!
@@Grainme47 Fiverr is a difficult platform. Mostly anything that you think you can offer already has thousands of under-priced offerings from other sellers. A good tip is to create 5 gigs in different sub-sections of the thing you're good at. For eg. If you're good at both toning and retouching, you could have one gig where you just add good tones to a photo and another where you retouch. Create all 5, research on what tags, titles & pricing models other sellers use, and initially keep your prices low. Keep checking the buyer requests section, that's where you might possibly land your first gig from.
Alternatively, also promote your gigs on social media platforms, and if convenient you could also ask your friends/family to make some purchases, that might give you a boost. But, all of this is certainly time consuming, and at the end of the day, I still find Fiverr high effort and low value platform.

Just some feedback for you guys. I find that you guys will often speak very slowly and take a while to get to the point. I understand it’s important to include an element of personality in your videos, but for listed idea videos like this it can be a lil annoying, so I played the video at 1.75 speed. Again, no hate. Really appreciate the value you guys bring to us learning but please take the feedback into consideration ❤️
