Def Rebel remake of "The Future" by CFO$, and l love it, fits Asuka's current persona a T.
I’m in the major minority that the Future was getting old mostly due to the fact that her old Empress of Tomorrow Gimmick was dead in the water ever since Kairi left the WWE. Sure the new one isn’t as good as the Future but it’s not bad and it’s not good either it’s personally for me one of the better newer Def Rebel songs for me it’s not as good as Tokyo Shock but it’ll eventually grow on me most likely.
It's not a remake. Inspired by it? Yes. The intro is the same concept, but it's a new singer and no similar lyrics, if anything it's like the second track on the same album as the first theme.
If Asuka was booked as even 1/10'th of the star that she has to naturally come across as just to be allowed on television, she'd main event every WrestleMania. This is about the 7 billionth time Asuka has outshined the entire roster, but the view never changes. They just can't ever allow her to look good.

It is weird, isn't it? She got the biggest pop at the Rumble by miles. She gets the biggest pop constantly, but always comes off as a rung below the Bayleys, Charlottes, Beckys in the eyes of management. It's odd that they didn't just pull the trigger on her and make her the mega star she can be.
