Nice looking result, the Epoxy really sets it off. Made a small map a couple of months ago of the town I live in, we have a couple of lakes and a couple of rivers that go through town so the cut portion turned out really nice for only being a 10"x10" size. Only painted my base layer as well, not ready for epoxy yet.
@mrole1kanobe thanks for watching and commenting. Yeah, for the epoxy I build the frame..rabbit, install plywood backer...caulk...then pour epoxy...24 hours later ready to cut out..I've painted a few too. Have you checked out Laser Map Maker?
@@myhoneyshandmade1077 I took a look at it when I was making my map but it has incomplete data on smaller rivers (like the ones in my town), I ended up going the snazzy maps route.

@@mrole1kanobe yeah. I have been using snazzy maps for a while. The map maker is quicker but they both have trade offs
@@mrole1kanobe yeah. on Snazzy maps, You can make the rivers thicker.
