@@thesmallwoodlot433 no worries. Thanks for stopping in
I hadn’t thought of doing that for my coasters. Great idea. Thanks and yipeekiay.
@@fathogwoodworking I had 28 to do for a client and this saved a lot of time. Plus the cardboard was free.
Sorry I missed it I’ve been beating my head against the wall with editing and uploading all day
@@WedoweeHandyman no worries. It was fun
@ I watched some of it I’ll circle back later trying to preserve bandwidth my upload has over 2 hours to go🤦♂️
@ thanks. How long of a video is it??
Thanks Steve
@@RedProg thanks a lot for watching
Great tip for batching Steve 👌 yippee kiyay 😉😂
@@Last-Breath-Woodworks love it. Thanks for watching Josh
"Yippee KyA .." 🔥in the voice of the character John McClain 😜🤘🏼 Freaking Love that movie!
@@katspeace5550 ha. I forgot I put that. In there. Great Christmas movie!
@@myhoneyshandmade1077 💯
Right on. Give us a notification too will ya.❤❤
Makes perfect sense to me. But not for doing continuous grain wrap. Everything else...👌
@@Last-Breath-Woodworks oh..true. Just trying to find a better way to hold it. I couldn’t get my holdfast to work.
@myhoneyshandmade1077 could always try painters tape with CA and activator like I did for that temporary jig in last video too 🤷
@ might try that
I’m thinking there’s more than one way to skin a board
@@WedoweeHandyman very true!!
Okay , so your not doing the “caning “ seats, your doing padded plywood seats
@@thesmallwoodlot433 yes sir
Lookin good Steve! 👍 But what happened to ur thumb? 😮
@@Last-Breath-Woodworks send Blanca I’m always cutting it on sharp blades or splinters

What material are we using?
@@kizzy3356 I’m using foam padding with batting and then it will have some fabric for the seat covers that the client picked out.
This should make a good video, great idea
@@OleMakes thanks, I appreciate that
I enjoyed the live last night, hopefully after things thaw out, I can get out in the shed also
appreciate you stopping by. I loved the grain on that walnut...The lives are always fun. I'm hearing that a lot from people about no shop time due to cold. I am blessed to have a heated shop...

thanks Kat!!!!! Should I change my youtube banner?
Very nice skills!
thanks Ray. do you use a lathe?
Great idea. Any tips for leveling out a twisted piece of wood with a regular planer? I have some live edge that warped and no longer have access to a bench plane
@@thelonewrangler1008 yes. Use a scrap piece of plywood3/4. Make a planer sled. Run it thru the planer until that one side is flat then remove the planer sled flip the piece upside down and run it through the planer until both side sides are parallel and flat.
@@thelonewrangler1008 does that make sense??
@@thelonewrangler1008 let me know if that doesn’t make sense and I can take a picture on my planner
Nice ❤
@@Wherethewindblows524 thanks much
Is that. Rabbet plane or a small dado
it's called a plow plane. A groove goes with the grain..a dado is agains the grain, and a rabbet is with the grain at the bottom or top...www.finepowertools.com/woodworking/rabbet-dado-groove/
@ I watched that video like 10 times trying to figure out where those shavings were coming from
@@WedoweeHandyman ha...man..i am loving it. I had so much fun Sunday that I made another box with it yesterday from cherry and walnut..
@ how long did it take to make that one groove
@@WedoweeHandyman 60 seconds...
Very cool Steve!!
@@WedoweeHandyman it’s been on the floor for months. Need to build up inventory for spring craft shows

Many years!!
I never seen the stop cutter u have before. But made some frames when i was young. I stapled heavy white starched sheets on the back like u got there. I would paint on the otherside. Ur a good carpenter ❤❤
thanks so much for watching and commenting. I've made several frames for local artists. They would stretch the frames though. It's great finding new tools to help with projects.
Have to agree with everyone else nice tip❤
thanks much. I saw it years ago and It works so well. had to share.
This was fun to watch ❤ love that glass look.the color is stunning ❤❤
Thanks a lot for watching. I make a lot of lake maps..with the leftover epoxy I pour it into a cup. This tree was made from that. It was a fun one.
Nice a good video u may already have. How to get ur dowel holes to line up. Even whittling sometimes carvings r made in 2 pieces like a horse even cowboys head to the body is often separate pieces.
@@Wherethewindblows524 what you can do is put a small Dowl in the bottom and then put a small nail that sticks up into it and then you press the other piece onto the nail and that tells you where to drill your Dow. Does that make sense?
