I installed a dollar tree basket by the door. when leave the shop, I check my pockets and leave pencils, tape measure, safety glasses and anything else that stays in the shop goes into the basket.
I was JUST creating my shop list!!!😱 thank you so much🙏🏾 like you said, finding the right videos can be overwhelming but yours came to me right on time🙌🏾. everything you mentioned gave me so much inspiration as to how I can create a functional space. I’ve been looking forward to creating my peg board wall. I love how you created your bit storage-genius! 👌🏾 you listed some very good must haves. I’m ready to get dustyyyy! 🤗
I know peg board is great for certain things but I likehaving some French cleats. You can get a lot of stuff off of your bench. Pencils, bits, tape measures, etc. You really don't need a CNC to make your fixtures. And if something needs changed you can alter existing fixtures or just replace them using scrap pieces.
I have a pencil, tape measure, hearing protection at each of my power tool stations. Also YoLink motion and temperature sensors and am adding YoLink smoke detectors.
I worked at a rental store. I got the shop guys in a group and said without looking where are the three fire extinguishers in the main repair/shop. Blank looks.....I told them you look at something many many times a day then all of a sudden its invisible.

I do ten and 12 footers since they can live in my back pocket. When I need amore reach pick the 25 footer off the bench.

Pencil: I cut them in half and sharpen three ends.
@ 4:30. Do you need a replacement drawer for that craftsman tool box?
Nope, I have that socket set in use :)
I've moved all of my tools out of mine and have been close to chucking the organizer several times! Love the content!@@NaileditBuilds
