Building a Saw Blade Axe || Wife NOT Happy
Yay snow but patiently awaiting ice to use the hole hopper and super sled for hard water fishing. Thanks for the simple storage solution for my summer camping gear.
I did that same thing in my basement, but ripped the 2x4's down to 2x2's. That and I couldn't be as critical of my wife's cra... I mean treasures!
Thanks for the idea! I also found out that the striker 4 boat transducer with the 4 pin also plugs into the striker 7 and works the same for ice fishing.
I put 1” pvc pipe on the bottom of my sled. I used a heat gun to bend it up in front and back. This way it can be dragged over any surface and the corners of the sled will never wear out and it makes it super easy to drag. I’ve had these runners on my sled for…4 years and no visible wear on them.
I have a harbor freight scissor lift put it on the floor when I need to work on the car. I use it when I need a shop a bench to work on. I have a 4 x 8 bench that is fully weldable hammer able, etc.. It works great.
Dude I’m with you 100%…I own six 5.0s, two 8.0 HO and two 3.0HO..I use the two 8.0 strictly for my blower at the house…at work as a mechanic of 19 years I use the 5.0s and the 3.0s..what nobody talks about is how fast heavy vibration from these new impact guns will literally shake and kill these batteries with everyday use..that gen2 3/8 gun will literally shake the screws out of them. recently I bought two labtec Chinese 8.0s..for $30 each I can’t complain at all..they have overload protection..short circuit protection..and will take off wheels and transmission bolts all day 🤷♂️..not saying they are better by any means but they work fine for a fraction of the price
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for sharing this! I appreciate your helpful suggestions!😊
Thanks for this! Was researching this saw with the clamps & track & now will purchase - along with the right angle. I'm also wondering if there's a Bosch router trolley that fits the track....hmmm.
i use male and female spade connectors for things i dont want permanent.
1st review I’ve ever seen where someone wasn’t happy with this gun
The gun works awesome just lugging that much weight around is a lot. But seems like that doesn't matter to most.
Can you load the sled into your truck without taking gear out due to the weight?
Yup. Kinda of a pain by yourself but do able.
Very nice build keep up the great work just subscribed gave me some good ideas to try
Nice no nonsense review. I’d say this might be ok for someone who doesn’t frame for a living and might only use it for 2 days in 2 years and has a bunch of Milwaukee batteries already and doesn’t have a compressor. Would you agree?
Nice build; this old man's back hurt just watching you lift that up and down lol
I love 120# sleds
Add the skiis or build a Smitty...You will definitely notice a difference....
I've just learned something new already. From this video. Before you even started the build, I didn't even know that they had eight pound per paint tanks, I knew that they had the one pounder, which is what I used for my auger, and I had known that they had the twenty pound. But which is what I'll probably be using for my camper. But I did not know they had an eight pound propane tank
I have a 3lb and a 5 lb propane tank I use for my buddy heater
They're more expensive than a 40 lb tank but very handy!
the Milwaukee's are so much more expensive, and yet several of them broke while using them rather moderately and refuse to charge (most likely one of the cells broke). So in my opinion for the price of the Milwaukee originals, their quality, durability and reliability is not good at all.
Nice review. Back in the 1980s my buddy had 2 of them and I laughed (to myself) because I was working on heavy equipment, welding, etc. and had next to zero use for them. Now in 2024 I am retired and could use something like this around the house and shop daily, my back and knees have already seen too much working on the floor and in the dirt, lol. I think I might use this WM125 more often than the WM225 because of it's light weight and portability. Take care of your shoulder.
Just had knee surgery last week and then my small lakes froze down here. Have you been out fishing yet up there? Nice build and it gives me some ideas!
nice shop!.. thanks for sharing.
This was perfect. Well done! Thank you!!
Nice cabinet and I am happy you did a video of it. As a relatively inexperienced builder with no decent shop to work in and only barely passable tools, I feel I can overcome all of these deficiencies however, if you want to make your video really great, you might add a cut list. It is not that anyone would use yours however, having the benefit of your experience in laying out the boards and put into a cut list would be an invaluable addition to tour video. Also I need to keep the volume low since I do not hear well and your symphony blasted my poor wife in the next room almost off the couch. Again nice job. I am sure your wife will appreciate the cabinet.
Thank you for sharing your idea.
Great job for sure
Nice improvements. Sweet dog too.
Who the hell uses the doors in their shop as a place to test spray? That would drive me absolutely nuts.
Does it have a hummer mode
I would love to have one of your fastener carousel's. That's such a great idea.
I insulated and covered the walls and ceiling with OSB painted and caulked need space for wood storage. Like dresser ideas for power tools.😊
i would suggest you research, chinese diesel heaters. super efient and hot. great vvideo.
Corn as bait... Ya it worked. But Im sure Nobody wants to see this evolving thing inside my head right now I'm in the process of Completely Bastardizing your wonderful design.. to turn it into a wood frame Smitty... I think it'll work.... Of Course.. If I had a sinker for every time I've said those words I'd sink my boat Thanks for the Block rizer design 👍
Grounded wire from welder to vise was a grat idea
Thanks for your video. I have basically the same setup as you. I really like your vacuum idea for that corner space under your workbench. It’s a waste of space and I’ve been trying to come up with an idea to utilize it. Thanks.
How about CO2 from your RV heater?
I have a carbon monoxide detector in the shop, and it's never went off using the heater.
Mig welder under vise , great idea.
I think I just have too much crap
For grinding the aluminum may I suggest using small sanding drums or sanding cartridge rolls.
I just looked at the price of the eagle rob lock. Are they only wanted sixty dollars for it
Yeah but those are huge and I needed a special size for my next video ;)
Oh ok
Also another better option than the silicon would be 3m vhb tape set with a heat gun
Gotta keep your head out of the fumes there my man....
Yeah I filmed this last year. After this I put an exhaust fan in the shop.
Awesome! I do this stuff for a living, and proper safety is key with it. Love seeing your builds as inspiration for my own!
I may have snickered a little at the flashing. Is this ok?
I have a bunch of closed cell foam sheets. They are from servers and networking gear. If you want them let me know.
We'll see. Lol if it doesn't hold up I'll just rivet in a new piece of actual aluminum sheet.
Just so everyone is aware the knockoffs dont have the safety protection in them like m18's do. A rental shop in northern Wisconsin burned to the ground because the battery failed to stop charging or something like that.
Just checked mines level
We lucked out and have a sunroom that acts as our "garage" for all the non shop junk.
What angel did you cut the braces?
Both ends at 45°
Love the channel. It's so nice to see there are great people like you donating to toys for tots. Hope you and your family have a great Christmas and a happy New Years.
You are a good guy for donating to Toys for Tots. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. 😊❤️
Bro this is so sick!!! I got an old Rv with the heater in it I can take it out ! I’m super impressed! I was thinking a little tent fire place but I didn’t want to cut a hole through the roof. This is exactly what I’m gonna do now. Good video dude
The price says it. I have 4 12 amp china batteries for my jobsite fan. No complaints. The china chargers are useless out the box. They won’t charge the 8 or 12.
