I have the 3660 as my daily driver. i3 12100, 16GB DDR5 4800, 500W Platinum PSU advanced cooling solution and an RTX 3060 12GB I added myself. Runs like a dream and games most titles easily at 1080P @ the 100 FPS mark. Great backup support from the Dell site too (3 year warranty as standard). It cost me £1200 here in the UK but it just works. 👌 And yes, at first I was going to replace the i3 CPU, but have been amazed at how good it is at everything so will keep it for now!

I have some older Dell machines like Precision 690 and two T320, two T310 (one T320 and one T310 modified as workstations). I also used to have a T5500 many years ago which I sold. And they all still work to this day! Only had some issues with some older optiplex and some precision machines, Great video about your machine. I got all these machines for free as they were about to get thrown away by a company I worked at which unfortunately went bankrupt.

ive heard that this pc with 13900k i9 processer is very loud, even with liquid cooling - is that true? how loud do you find the cooling of this pc? thanks

All nice. I bought mine brand new 10 weeks ago and so far it's been sitting in the corner collecting dust. Apparently, start using a new PC is now a task that no one understands anymore. It is not a mobile phone that you can clone. Linking is apparently impossible and so everything still runs on my old PC....

    hello.
Great videos, I've been following you for a while.
I have a question, I hope you can help me, I just bought a dell precision 3650, i7 11700, 32 ram, and I want to add an RX 6600 graphics card
but the power source is only 300w,
Apparently I need more power to put the graph.
My Doubt is. I can put any psu with more power or it must be specific to Dell, (because of the connectors).
and another question is on the pci-e connector it has written pci-e4 x16 75w
Will this limit me for the graphics card that I want to put?
or I can put any graphics card.
    greetings

Hello, for the 3650 unfortunately you need a Dell PSU. The size and connectors are very particular from Dell for such form factors. Regarding the PCIe slot, you can install any GPU if you have the PSU with the power connectors to deliver extra power in case that the GPU you install requires more than 75W. For example, a Quadro T1000 will draw its power from the 75W from the slot. Thanks for watching and for keeping an eye on the channel!!

    I have precision 3660 with 13900k, rtx A4000, 2 x 32gb ddr5, 1 tb + 512gb ssd.
I will upgrade this in future with rtx 5080 and will add more 2 x 32gb ram to make it 128gb RAM.

have you experienced overheating issue with your 3660 with 13900k?

    • @JorgeMoralesAv
      @JorgeMoralesAv  ปีที่แล้ว

never, it remains pretty stable by 100% usage trough hours. I ordered it with the advanced liquid cooling system. I can imagine that if you are using air coolers could get pretty warm. I think for the 13900K it is a must the liquid cooling option. Thanks for watching!

the CPU will just throttle to keep running. This CPU already stresses triple fan AIOs, a single-fan AIO won't maintain stable high clock rates.

I want to comment on what will be considered by many as a very minor point, but it remains somewhat irksome. The audio I/O jack on the front panel will probably (by most users) have a plug sticking in it at all times. The USB slots are just beneath that phone jack, so that audio plug is always in your way, as you much more often try to access the jacks below it to plug in a USB drive or cable. The audio jack should have been located BELOW the USBs.

How this can be good, if you pair a 13900K with a single fan AIO?! That's terrible!
