- Main Ingredients:
• 450gm Scalded Rice Vermicelli (Bee Hoon)
• 500gm Cleaned Medium Size Prawns
• 20gm Finely Sliced Vietnamese Coriander (Daun Kesum)
• 40gm Fish Ball
• 20pcs Toufu Puff
• 250gm Bean Sprout
• 1pcs Cucumber Sliced thinly into long strips.
Chili Gravy Ingredients:
• 270ml Cooking Oil
• 1000ml Coconut Milk
• 2 Cups Water
• 40gm Scalded Dry Red Chili
• 250gm That Shallots
• 13gm Candle Nut (Buah Keras)
• 4cm Fresh Turmeric(Kunyit)
• 4.5cm Fresh Galangal (Lengkuas)
• 1 Small Stalk Ginner Torch Flower (Bunga Kantan)
• 6-8 Stalks Lemongrass (Serai)
• 40gm Shrimp Paste (Belacan)
• 60gm Vietnamese Coriander
• 1 tbsp Chicken Granules
• 1 tbsp. Salt
• 3/4 tbsp. Sugar

I think it much better to use chicken stock rather than water So some used chicken too right and will try to make this version ❤️

Thank you, aunty, for sharing this recipe. Here in the Philippines, it’s hard to find kari leaves so I just use curry powder when I cook laksa😢 I eat laksa every week. It’s my favorite. Please also show the recipe for nasi lemak, aunty 😊

Adding chicken stock already makes it not authentic. Chicken stock overpowers the quthentic taste.

Hi Sarinah, authentic nyonya laksa doesnt need ginger & garlic ya. Try it, im sure the taste will be good.
