Reverse wireless charging has to be a thing especially if the airpod pros have a wireless charging case which they do. Reverse wireless charging needs to be enabled on the iPhone 15 at least or an update for the iPhone 14 and continued on the 15
They will enable it on iPhone 16 Pro.
Why? …the fucking AirPods last forever , the Apple Watch last a day as minimum… why do you need reverse charging? What do you need to charge?

It wouldn’t require a software but rather a hardware update so the phones would have to be taken in as the battery itself would have to be enabled to reverse charge and a whole different battery would have to be made

Fr I remember the Samsung commercial of a phone wireless charging another phone by putting the back of the phone
I also found out something similar to this,experimented with AirPods 3rd gen and AirPods Pro 1st gen and MagSafe charger. Quickly removing the Apple Watch from its charger and placing the AirPods allows them to charge for about 1/2 to 3 seconds
That's because the new AirPods can be charged with an Apple Watch charger...

I'm gonna be honest I had the s22 and the reverse charging was kind of useless since you could only do it if your phone was at 30% or higher, and well I also found the s22 battery wasn't great so when I'd want to try the reverse charging on a friends phone to boost it the charging was useless because it was too low. I mean it's kind of useful for charging headphones but like the headphones actually stay charged pretty darn well already even if you don't charge it every day.

iPhones actually support reverse charging since the iPhone 12, if you connect your it to Apple CarPlay trough the cable and snap the MagSafe battery pack it will actually start charging the battery pack, so the hardware is there. I guess Apple never enabled it in fear of battery degradation, but it would be really cool to change AirPods

first of all, no. the airpods don’t make that sound when put to charge. the apple watch does. second of all, when airpods are charging, the light on the case turns orange.
I have an AirPod Pro 2 which has speakers at the bottom of the case and when I open it or start charging it plays this sound, and when I connect it to the charger the green LED lights up so maybe there is something wrong with your model

This is actually true. You can actually only use this feature with the apple MagSafe power bank. It allows you to wirelessly charge the power bank with the iPhone. Him getting it to work with AirPods is probably cap tho
I think he charged his MagSafe powerbank and quickly removed it before placing his AirPods case on his iPhone right when it noticed the battery was disconnected

The reason i know it’s true is because the original apple magsafe battery bank can be charged if you have jt on the back of your iphone and plug a cable into your iphone (NOT THE MAGSAFE BATTERY BANK)

No this is not fake. This is real. iPhones since 11 support it. Only way you can use it now is if you have MagSafe battery pack so you connect cable to phone and also then when reverse wireless charging it charged the MagSafe battery pack also. Initially it was 5W but Apple them bumped it to 7.5W. After a sec the green dot stops illuminating because phone detects it’s AirPods or any other device and not battery pack. This is just a limitation.

It’s a bug in the software, the wireless charging is only supposed to work with the MagSafe battery pack. Yes it’s a dumb limitation from Apple but nothing new.
It makes sense. 12 and up are MagSafe so the phones would actively push against each other. Not to mention the camera notch on some official cases would prevent the phones from aligning properly. When you charge the phone via the lightning port it can also charge the MagSafe battery as well.
