As someone who has built a gyro walker: they are tons of fun! However, it was so difficult to maintain that I gave up after its first real competition.
This bot inspired me to build a plant gyro walker, and let me tell you your right the blades look wonderful on your bot. Hope my goes as well as yours. So bird strike does bot use any bushes and just gyros on its belly?
Great question. I am aware that NHRL does allow projectiles (as long as they don’t move faster than 150 MPH). I’m not entirely sure when I’d do it but I’d be interested in attempting to make a projectile bot in the future.
Bird Strike is a gorgeous bot~ Congrats on 1k Kekoto!!!🎉🎉🎉
Congrats on 1k and I look forward to seeing the fights!
Looking forward to seeing this beast in action next month!

Thank you. And good luck on your build.
Also no, Bird Strike doesn’t use any brushes.
Would you accept the challenge of making a robot that shoots projectiles as a weapon? Do you think it is possible to build something like that? Ty
