After 2 week after the first session, all the hair on my head fell out due to shock loss 😢. But to prevent it, I have come up with a solution for the victims of the PRP scam that you are using to do hair transplant surgery on ordinary people.😢 ❤ The remedy is to increase natural immunity immediately 😂
I just had my first session out here in Colombia. It was only about $75.00! It did hurt a bit since im not into needles..but was tolerable. I was injected with my own plasma and then afterwards they went over a 2nd time with a derma penn so that the plasma goes into every nook and cranny area of recession. I was told to come back in another month. I plan to atleast do 3 to see if my hair does get fuller.
One of the best videos I’ve seen on the topic of PRP. Less than 10 min, hit all the key points, and set the right expectations on who it’s right for how effective it is.
I had three sessions so far, I am loving the results. The nurse told me though, to avoid consuming vitamin C and to drink lots of water before the procedure. And actually it hurt like a 🤬 on my second procedure where I had a glass of lemon water first thing in the morning right before the PRP
I had prp done to my scalp today with no numbing cream and honestly it was so much more painful than I expected. It sucks that you also need so many injections. I dont think I can handle another treatment, might just have to stick to minoxidil and dermarolling at home
Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with your treatment. I’d recommend talking with your injector about how they can make the procedure easier. Maybe with numbing the scalp, massage wands to vibrate the area, or even icing the area before injecting.
Is its result permanent? I underwent it twice, but when I stopped, the baldness returned again. Is its effect permanent or does it stop as soon as I stop for sessions?
I don't know if PRP actually regrows hair but it did cure the severe tendonitis in my leg years ago. Symptoms completely disappeared within a month of the injection. Haven't had a problem since.

What is the best size of Needle to inject the scalp of the hair, we can use the Seringue of 5ml and just change the Needle wich I asked about the size below..
Thats a great question that can have a number of answers. It all depends on how soon after the treatments that the hair falls out. Remember, there is no cure for hair loss so even though you are doing these treatments your hair will continue to fall out, hopefully just at a much slower rate.
Go to an endocrinologist and get your hormones tested. Also make sure you're taking organic bioavailable vitamins and wild caught organic omegas. Also take stomach acid resistant probiotics for gut issues. That's what helped me reduce hair loss. Also using Nizoral shampoo.
In INDIA they always try to sell entire package that will cost you around 30-50 k INR , clinic will always try to see you maximum amount of PRP injection, I have taken 8 but I saw maximum hair growth for 3 to 4 PRP after that the body was used to the treatment so it did not respond 😅
Thats one of the downsides of PRP, unfortunately it may not give great results for everyone. Everyone has different blood qualities and levels of growth factors. So while one person may get great results with it, others may not. If your hair is still falling out the best option is finasteride and oral minoxidil. And you don’t have to take them 7 days a week to get great results. The main definition of success with these meds is that they stop your hair loss, not necessarily get back all your hair.
I don’t have anyone in the Tampa area that I know of but you can look up Dr Steven Weiner and Dr Maxim Chumak in Florida. Both are very knowledgable in PRP.
For me it depends how soon after the transplant. We typically do one PRP injection the day of the transplant and then one about a week later. After that, say 3-4 months later, i’m not sure a single session has a huge benefit.
From what I’ve read, you should do maintaining sessions every 3-6 months to keep your results. And the most common prp protocol is: First 3 sessions should be done every 4 weeks, then maintaining sessions. Gonna try prp by myself in november btw!
No, PRP does not regrow hair that has been totally lost. It works more to save the hairs that are on the way out and either stabilize the loss process or in some cases cause the hair shaft to thicken again.
Do you have a poor diet? Are vitamin deficient, don't take vitamins or wild caught omegas? Didn't have your hormones tested? Gut issues? Dermatology issues? Could be any of these reasons...
Hey doc. I just wanted to ask that my hairfall got WORSE after 2nd session and I noticed extreme shedding which I'm 100% sure wasn't my natural MPB. The hairs that started shedding also look extremely healthy and dark hairs, unlike weak hairs I used to shed before PRP. So my question is, is it temporary hairloss which is stimulated by growth cells on scalp(as google told me) or just permanent? Thanks in advance!
It’s possible after maybe the first one or two injections but that it typically temporary as it may be stimulating some new growth causing the old hair shaft to be kicked out.
I am experiencing huge hair loss which I have never a week after my first PRP treatment, it’s been 20 days now I am loosing around 100-150 hairs everyday ( sometimes more), please let me know why this is happening and should I continue with the PRP sessions, I am really scared
I had 3 sessions of PRP one month apart each. My hair is worse than before, not only shedding but also the texture has changed. I’m in Massachusetts and paid $2100 for 3 sessions and it was the most reasonable price I could find. I’m wondering if it was not applied properly or if my scalp suffered a shock with the injections.
It can be. Especially if you've recently eaten a fatty meal. After a while the body deals with all of that fat and then it's less. Thats why its important to eat healthy the week before your PRP sessions.
Finasteride won't bring back dead hair follicles either. That medication is more meant to slow down the rate of loss and can help some of the follicles to rebound. That rebound means they become thicker and then you have the appearance of better density with your hair.
It depends on how you do it. We give the option of numbing injections or using laughing gas to get through the procedure. Most patients do great with the injections but then again some patients have a hard time. It’s all about patience and trying to make our patients as comfortable as possible.
