there's a lot of Dolphin, nice cold mountain and the beaches are really clean, with no one, its like a paradise if you like Adventure .. that's my perception.
Once it was part of indonesian but now they are independen however as an indonesian i still feel Timor Leste people as my brothers and sisters regardless they independency i love the country and i love the people.
nos brasileiros precisamos conhecer esse paraíso que e o timor leste adorei o video várias idéias de investimentos no ramo de turismo ecológico ajudaria o mundo a descobrir esse belo país.
It's indeed a nice video of Timor i have seen so far, but i couldn't hear any sound after around half way. In all there was great images of happier people with their place of living👍
Out of curiosity; there are many reference made to Malaysia. e.g. Descendents of East Timorese. Malay language used. Could it be that it is more accurate to say that it is Indonesian instead ?
Timor Leste is generally very safe to visit. There is some low level crime so take normal precautions as you would in any city. At the moment (May 2018) there is an election which has been marred by some violence. However, this is not typical. Healthwise - Dili is like Bali - don't drink the water, and malaria is no longer a problem. However as with Bali there are similar health issues such as a risk of mosquito born diseases such as Dengue Fever. Normally the people are very friendly and open particularly if you learn a few words of Tetun. However most people are multilingual and Indonesian is widely spoken. Many people in the larger centres such as Dili and Baucau also speak English and/or Portuguese. Often they want to practice their English if you can speak it. Remember the people are very poor, so it is good manners and wise not to exhibit too much wealth. If you do want to visit it is great to get out of Dili, but services and accommodation in the rural areas can be quite basic.
The East Timores also studied about four and the half century under the Portuguese and what happened this country? What is the difference in four and the half century under the Portugal and 23 years under Indonesia?
The difference are portuguese colonised by heart, love, peace and moral meanwhile Indonesia invaded and occupied by force , violent, tortured , rape, murder, immoral and destruction of human being and its nature . Have you got it ?

I dream to one day to be able to visit Timor Leste!
Wondering; is it safe for tourists to travel there ?

Welcome my friend.... U r safe in Timor leste
The East Timores also studied about four and the half century under the Portuguese and what happened this country? What is the difference in four and the half century under the Portugal and 23 years under Indonesia?
The main and obvious difference was a genocide during the Indonesian rule. Estimate is 150K dead (20% of the population).
The difference are portuguese colonised by heart, love, peace and moral meanwhile Indonesia invaded and occupied by force , violent, tortured , rape, murder, immoral and destruction of human being and its nature . Have you got it ?
O nome oficial do país em inglês é Timor-Leste, não East Timor. Por favor, corrijam.
I 💙 U MORE HOMELAND ISLAND.....

Lets just let Timor Leste remain a peaceful Nation free at last and free from exploitation of tourism and multinationals
