Totally watching this in 2023 as a 40 year old man. We had the best shows in the 80s!

3:31-That pie in the face schtick in that scene reminds me of my favorite comedian and one of my favorite stars of "The Muppet Show" and that comedy star is Fozzie Bear because he tells jokes and does funny schtick like that. He also happens to be Kermit the Frog's best friend.
Marshmallow Soup is indeed a real dessert- it’s basically whipped cream marshmallows milk and chocolate chips
Could've sworn it was just Eric that saved the day with cinnamon rolls or cinnamon buns when I was 4 years old.
i remember when i was really little, after watching this episode, i thought i'd do the same thing to myself, except instead of pie i used peanut butter. mom was a wreck getting it outta my hair!

just a little trivia Gord Holtram and Rick Olsen who are the main writers for this episode also worked for years on the CBC show The Royal Canadian Air farce I still question to my self this very day who's idea was it to put the pie fight in this episode

now for a little rant about the pie fight and now I am not trying to start fights but in my option the camera was to zoomed in during the whole pie fight and the pies did'nt stick to their faces while being thrown and some of Bram's throws were a bit off the mark but the part where Lois stands and flips a piece of her hair back the hits were okay but not great and to much wiping away of the whipped cream and did you notice how there was an unused cream pie on the second rack of Bram's Trolly at the very end of the pie fight now the Roman Discus throw was first used by the legendary Buster Keaton in the late 30's and it got reused and it was an okay fit to the pie fight but I feel sorry for the poor person who had to had to write it into the script if only the pie fight lasted a little bit longer and they should have used better whipped cream for the pies
