at 5:06 the kid in the audience got corrected by his parent for the middle finger thing. The way Sharon is doing it, its not vulgar at all. So for anyone who gets offended by her doing that ..I. .I.. to you.

What I mean is that nowadays, different groups would condemn this episode for showing kids how to flip people off...nowadays, society tries to make everything politically correct and back when this show was on, kids could be kids...they could be innocent and not be told "that's not acceptable...it's not politcally correct"
