Making a raft for a carriage to cross a river comes straight out of the 1937 British Army manual of horsemastership, equitation and animal transport! Amazing to see that done on film.

I just watched the original last night. I can honestly say this colorization completely ruined a beautifully lit film. The black and white cinematography was awesome.
