So which old school kit do it pick, the classic Koni sports or the Bilshen B12's
Guess you'll have to watch the whole video.
What about mix of koni and bilsteins? Konis on the front for easy adjustability and bilsteins on the rear?
Hmmm you make a good point, something to think about and maybe have a play doing. 👍🏼
on my first mk2 gti i had boge turbo gas on mine, 😂😂😂👍👍👍 rock hard i loved it!!!
wow the boge turbo's, that brings back some memories. 👍🏼
@@RestoDesignsnando hahaha they were great! 🤣🤣👍
KONI SPORT+VOGHTLANT -7cm progressive springs, violet.
Ok I've never heard of that mix of koni & Voghtlant sounds good 👍🏼
VOGHTLAND is a very good spring manufacturer, I had it installed in a FORD ORION next to Koni Sport, a wonder. Then KONI SPORT shock absorbers I have been installed on ROVER 400, MG ZR, VW PASSAT. Now I have BILSTEIN B6 in my current vehicle and I am not so satisfied with the result compared to Koni.
@@jamocerwin5841 I was thinking b8's but after hearing so many of them fail il just skip them. Koni is hard to get at my place, and ive never tried konis, so your comment is really helpful. As for springs, pretty much all of those brands are good, it just depends what spring rate you want and what ride height, and with that you opt for a brand imo. Voghtland springs are good.
I think I had Spax on my Mk2
Koni are a pain in the ass with their adjustment design. Not user friendly
Yep you're totally right, no "clicks" and the rear are 100% not user friendly.
Bilstein cos Koni are trash and don't last.
Thanks for sharing, 👍🏼
Seriously, them too? What experience have you had with them?
@@TomoReso dealer, installer, user and throwing them in the bin cos they haven't changed and are junk over the last 205 years kind of experience lol
