Nice. I need to start fishing more again. Mainly just been gold panning whenever I have a free weekend. And now deer season starts up in October so every weekend in October is pretty much dedicated to that. Too many hobbies with not enough time to do them. I also got a metal detector to give that a shot at parks and swim areas but still haven't taken it out yet

@@SkovianGoesOutdoors Beach mining is very different than rivers and I don’t generally find the orange sands like that. Usually the jet blacks and pink sands are best. But hey Gold is when you find it! Thanks for dropping a comment.
It looks like it was worth your time at least. I live not far from Klamath falls and haven't been able to go prospecting Oregon yet but we are planning a trip to the beach soon and see if we can get a little color. Where would you suggest me to come try it with my wife? We are both very experienced miners. Spent time in nome and we got that fine beach gold thing down pretty good just asking for your help as to where we would have some luck. Ty amd keep sharing your adventures
@@stevestrickling2044 Hey Steve, yeah just having fun. Not going to get much weight of any around here but it’s possible to get lucky. Whiskey run is probably your best bet. Finding the paystreak is difficult and deep but there are small amounts gold and platinum in the creek itself. Don’t bother digging more than two feet in the creek.

Cool videos dude. I do the same thing a bit farther south. Be careful about digging in the beach bank like that.. for legal reasons. It's an Oregon thing- Trust me. And definitely be careful about filming it if you are going to do that. Just trying to help you out.
Yeah I normally don’t do that but the bank already slid off. I’m tired of all their bullshit restrictions. I might just set up a dredge soon. Before you know it, we will have zero rights because everyone is too scared to do anything.

I was just on Southern Oregon coast. I saw somewhere you are not suppose to dig into the banks. it accelerate beach erosion. i enjoy your channel.
The layers of sand on the banks was wild, I've never seen sand like that on the beach before either
