- LMS Pacific 6233 Duchess of Sutherland travels along the Devon coast at Dawlish on route to Penzance with “The Great Britain XIV”, a nine-day extravaganza of mainline steam traversing all around the British isles.

Excellent photography and I was really pleased to see this wonderful train with no diesel locomotive attached. It is now the 30th April and this morning I watched this same train on it's way back as it passed through St Austell: And it looks even more magnificent in real life! Sadly my photography is of a maroon blur!
Excellent photography - for me the Stanier Pacifics were, and remain, the most beautiful of all Britain's mainline steam locos.

Beautiful videography!! ‘Quite a rocket, at speed! I have been following the sea wall construction, and yours is the first video that I have seen of larger waves breaking against it. (AND….was the following locomotive an escort, in case of breakdown?)
